I have seen statistics that Democrats tend to pick up more congressional seats when they lose the presidency, and they have seen that as a positive. It is possible that they actually do want to lose, because they are considering the money from having more Democrats in office more than they are considering what it does to the country and the non-politicians who live here.
I may be biased since my friend group of utterly disenchanted millennials will vote for Trump's "anti establishment burn-everything" over another DNC pick - only Sanders offers them hope at all. They don't even like Warren, which I think is... telling, but whatever. They are the actual Bernie Bros, I guess. Almost entirely disengaged, consuming a wild arrangement of conspiracy theories (from Coronavirus to Alex Jones) and utterly without faith in our leadership. Broken.
I wouldn't (and won't) vote for Trump, but I wouldn't vote for Warren anymore either. With her history on pretty much any political view I care about, she'd have to put in some effort to show she's changed. She did somewhat for a while, but keeps backing off on any non-regressive ideas.
Next time around we just need to hire Jeff Probst to run the whole election. Throw all the candidates out on an island somewhere for a couple months. Put them through some physical and mental challenges.
Yes, I'm suggesting Survivor is a more reasonable method of choosing a winner to be president than our current electoral system.

Some of them would actually die from that. Biden's team is preventing him from appearing anywhere, because he loses votes every time he talks to people. Partly because he's an asshole who is actively against things democrat voters generally care about, but mostly because he's sundowning so hard. If he had to think or do things, it might actually be too sad to laugh at.
Just because someone used to be vice president doesn't mean their policies are good
That's why Obama chose someone else to endorse instead of Biden.
