Well, with the death of impeachment as an actual tool against an unfit president (because following this no president's going to give a shit about impeachment), what do you guys think will be the next power shifted over to the executive?

My money's on the erosion of judicial checks against executive orders (though gaming the courts, as has already been done) until the president has the de facto ability to create de facto laws, rendering Congress irrelevant beyond pretending to be relevant. Hell, we're already on our way there!

Naw man, the legislative will continue to defacto cede power over to the executive branch when they continue to find things to hem and haw over as partisanship continue to escalate.

The judicial branch will eventually be packed with people based solely on their hardcore political leanings, as seats sit empty for years when both the legislative and executive branch are of different allegiances.

Half the legislative branch (and Murrica) will welcome El Presidente for Life with thunderous applause.

Chuck has clearly suffered a right hemisphere stroke.  Not an extremely severe one (all strokes are severe, but some are moreso than others), but had one all the same.

He's lucky his mouth does not hang agape on that side.

Either that, or has suffered some form of neural trauma to one of the neural bundles controlling his left eye.  If that were the case though, there would likely be more co-morbid symptoms.  (facial nerves are very touchy things, no pun intended.)

I do admit, that he produces a decidedly "Lurch" aesthetic there behind Pelosi.

Rather, old-generation Dems know where their bread gets buttered, the same as the Repubs do. Both are terrified of upsetting the status quo, just for different sides of the aisle.

I think Democrats and Republicans have the same main goal, money/power, and make the public fight over as many things as they can to distract from the similarities and how little power the civilians actually have. The revolution we had back in the 16th century may have gone full circle ⭕️
