Yeah, AFAIK no US terrorist "radicalized by ISIS" has ever been part of ISIS or interacted with any member in person.  The way it goes seems to be that ISIS puts up radicalizing information on the internet, someone finds it and bites, then goes off and does a terror attack on their own.  Its kind of like those "anarchist cookbook" kind of things that tell you how to make homemade bombs or how to escape from those plastic military handcuffs.  Except whatever ISIS has put up seems to have told people not only how to carry out attacks but why to they should carry out attacks.

Edit: The distinction is important because actual members of ISIS (and similar organizations like the Taliban) are far more numerous than US domestic terrorists are.  They tend to do scary shit like take over towns and openly execute people.  Hence why those organizations kill far more people in their own countries than they do in the US.  If we describe domestic terrorists as literal ISIS members people might get the wrong idea as to why ISIS is a threat.  Or was a threat, if the news from Iraq is to be believed.  Dealing with real ISIS won't necessarily deal with internet ISIS, and failing to deal with internet ISIS won't suddenly cause a Syria/Iraq style invasion of the US.

The Trumpian answer to that is that taxes are socialism, and we should get rid of them, and the government, because it's my money and I want it NOW!

I'll never understand people who want that much money and then never do anything with it except make more money. What's the point? Money is a means to an end, not the end in and of itself! Besides, do the right kind of awesome shit with your fat wads of cash and you'll be hyper-popular, like Elon Musk.

I imagine if I suddenly had access to Trump's bank account I'd be doing things like building LIFTR reactors all over the U.S., Converting the advancing edge of the Sahara desert into irrigated farmland fed by desalinized seawater, and other absurdly expensive but quite helpful things.

I'd also invest a good chunk of it to ensure a steady and sizable income, but only so much as to upkeep me doing crazy shit.

My word, fifty percent? At first, I thought it was the taxation rate of the Trump household, rather than the article writer. That would be a dreadful amount for someone likely to genuinely mean it when they say 'taxation is theft'. Still. Fifty percent, good Lord...

I would be a kind and gentle king of my household. Ten percent, at most, for I could no doubt buy more candy than the children has ever seen together in their entire life if I felt for it. Arrange it into a little trophy altar, like a Roman conqueror, perhaps, to show my sugary wealth. The glistening glare of all the wine gum will dazzle and blind them! I would also share this wealth with them, within reason, as a great public work. Yes, I will build happy and loyal subjects in my household, through acts of public kindness rather than to vainly rob them blind to inoculate them against socialism.
