I mean, do we know exactly what the reaction was like? Yelling at him seems entirely appropriate. Blind rage does not.

They recorded the entire thing.

As I said if the police weren't there... I have a feeling it would have went rather differently.

Cue the supremacists loading their victim cannons with all this ammo, then. Got a link?

While perhaps inappropriate, blind rage is certainly predictable and understandable, given the context.

In another city? In another year? Probably not. 10 days after someone was killed (and dozens injured) by a pro-Confederate idiot specifically for counter-protesting the removal of said statue? Yeah, that's just poking the fucking bear. You poke the bear, you don't cry when you get your arm chewed off.

Which just furthers my suspicion that this was done precisely to provoke a reaction so that that ilk can wallow in their victim narrative some more.

Apparently a person dress in a Confederate outfit who saluted infront of a statue to honor his ancestors had to be escorted out in a police car.

The part that surprised me was two things
1) How in your face the people who just showed up to yell at this kid who wasn't doing anything
2) How they shook off the blame for the riot and pushed it onto the police entirely.

Don't worry though the kid was kicked out of school for doing this completely legal activity. Said person is Anti-Nazi / Anti-Fascist who finds their attaching themselves to confederate history to be insulting.

Should I be linking? I am sure there is more to this, but I am more interested in some of the surface details.

Not sure about that specific student. But PCC was known* as an insane, almost cult like, college. It was not accredited meaning classes from there would not transfer to other schools nor were many of its degrees recognized as having much value. Among other things, besides apparently limiting their students from saluting Confederate statues, they require their students outside of campus to be in single sex groups at all times. Men and Women are not allowed to meet off campus or interact alone on campus, even by accident. As part of their studies (possibly only for the ministry degree) they're required to stand on street corners and in public spaces and preach to passerby. Punishments include being assigned to a 24/7 chaperone you must even share a room with at night. They don't even simply watch for bad behavior, they troll social media trying to trap PCC students into doing something against the rules.

For all we know the college kicked him out for idolatry rather than any semi-sane reason.

*"Was known." Last I did research into this particular college was several years ago. It's possible they've changed, but I'm going to assume nutjobs are going to remain nutjobs.

Please tell me they have a D-III football team. "Now entering the field, the Pensacola Christian Holy Rollers!"

EDIT: Well of course he was kicked out. There were *GIRLS* in Charlottesville! He's been tainted!

I think this is it... I don't actually want to watch this a second time... But it SEEMS correct.

Whelp, so I guess it is more that PCC is insane. I know my college (or was it TU?) was heavily criticized for kicking out kids getting drunk at a bar.

Oh, one of THOSE. Sounds like they did him a favor.

Anyway yeah, if people keep taking the bait they are absolutely going to set up more of these incidents to drum up support.

Assuming it was even bait. Impossible to tell either way :P

Westboro Church has kind of given more then enough evidence to suggest they are as baity as heck.

But yeah if I guess the problem with US ideologies is Victim Politics :P

Who is the biggest victim? FIGHT!

I am starting to see why Christians have such a huge victim complex... That is the only currency in the US is your Privilege points.

So, what's there to complain about? The guys shouting at him didn't seem like they were any violent, and frankly I admire their restraint for not sending a fist into that eminently punchable face. Poor guys must have been disappointed he didn't get to play the victim of dangerous antifa or something.

Neo: If you think that guy isn't baiting, I'm not sure what evidence you need.

Well, that he said he'd like to see them try to take the statue down is a good hint. Also that his devotion to historical accuracy apparently wasn't as strong as his desire to have his AR-15 close at hand.

Gosh, I need one of those violins.
Can probably order in China. That looks like a 1/32th violin. Chinese kids used to (and probably still do) start violin lessons at around age 1.5 - 2.
A 1/16th violin is not uncommon for a 2 year old, although I have to admit the one in the picture is extraordinarily tiny. Me myself, I started at a 1/2 violin at age 7, upgraded to 3/4th soon though. Kiddie fingers grow rapidly.

I wouldn't be surprised though if you could just order a violin the size of that one in the clip from any Chinese violin factory.

I try, if I can, to avoid Thought Crime. Or rather trying to lambast people for what is inside their head.

I love how far you're willing to expand the benefit of the doubt to right-wing troll. Especially when you're so quick to attack feminists, BLM and other leftie for what they REALLY mean.
