I get the feeling that Kuschner is a Man Behind The Curtain, in many ways. Or else is the perhaps a Man In Front Of A Curtain For Another Man (Who May Or May Not Be Behind A Curtain, And Maybe Or Maybe Not The Same One).

I listened to Hilary give a commencement speech at her Alma Mater today. The cringy jokes and petty jabs she managed to utter between incessant coughing fits almost made me glad we elected the racist pumpkin in a wig.

I've listened to the recording, and I have to say, it did not sound at all like the reporter was "body slammed to the ground" don't get me wrong, the republican is clearly in the wrong here, but I think it is very likely that the stories have been extremely exhaggerated.

I feel inclined to ask what a reporter being bodyslammed to the ground sounds like.

I heard the recording on the BBC World Service last night, and it sounded unpleasant. Shouting, crashing, some odd grunting which may have been someone throwing punches, then the reporter saying his glasses are broken a few times, then asking the alleged Fox News journos in the room for their details.

I then heard it this morning on my local Fox affiliate, and they appeared to have edited out the crashing, grunting, and the reporter saying things so... yeah. If the journos are saying they witnessed that, while other folk under their umbrella are editing the recording, I'm not sure what to think of Fox.

I read somewhere, I think from a link here, that the reporter was grabbed by the neck and thrown to the ground behind Mr Misdemeanor Assault.

What happens with an elected official's government income if he's sentenced to jail for part of his term? Does he get to keep it, or does all his earnings go to the jail budget? I don't think inmates are allowed to earn money from salary on the outside, right?

Typically officials elected or appointed are either impeached, fired if possible, or resign if there's an impending sentence for a serious crime. I don't know the sentencing guidelines for misdemeanor assault, and of course he's got a good shot at dodging the law anyway, so it's not too important of a question until that becomes clear.

A lot comes down to the will in favor and will against the individual, as well as their place in the government. Eugene V. Debs famously ran his candidacy as the Socialist Party candidate for President from a jail cell one year and got 6% of the vote, he probably would have been freed regardless had he won or even been a major competitor.
