Who ever came up with it is a genius. Even though the AI berate those who donate and says its scam, people still donate to be heard.. because politics!

I can definitely see it used as campaign tool in the upcoming elections, and illustrate how AI can be use online anonymously to sway public opinion.

Yeah, the forced juvenile insults seem to be the extent of Biden AI, meanwhile Trump AI appears to have a lot more material to work with (I presume that he was obnoxious as the reality host too)

Having trouble finding a sharable source (what I can find is a .pdf from the US District Court), but Judge Cannon has tentatively scheduled the Trump trial for August 24, 2023. That's probably going to slip because a lot of security clearances are going to have to be issued, but it is a sign that the case is being fastracked (which the government has requested).

It'll be interesting to see if she thumbs her nose at judicial propriety a 3rd time. Already got slapped down twice by the Circuit Courts. There is going to be a ton of attention focused on her and she could, quite easily, just make this case go away at multiple stages. The kind of thing Trump has pushed everyone around him to do, and which he ostensibly sat her as a judge for.

From what I can find, she can't just make this case go away. At this point in the Federal system, it can't be dismissed until after the prosecution has made their case. With a defendant that is constantly confessing in the media.

She can, blindly, declare that there's insufficient evidence after they present. I'm mostly going off Legal Eagle's analysis. According to him, she could dismiss it with prejudice. That wouldn't be the end of the story. But it would probably keep him out of jail until November.

She can do it, but not at this point in the process. And once the prosecution makes their case, the scrutiny on her will be absolutely ludicrous. There's no guarantee that she won't still play the patsy, but the odds go down.

... it's significantly more likely that Judge Cannon is going to recuse herself at some point. That buys Trump more time, which is what he wants more than anything.
