But that's just good writing, and a normal amount of ads.

That there is some pretty good political satire, even if appropriate. If it's not satire, then it's another a sign that it really is impossible to trust anything in the media at all as valid.  The only thing you can trust is what you experience directly, and I suppose even that may be suspect if you don't have the appropriate foil helmet.
