No worries fam, we're all cool here, whatever the political aisle. At its worse we will be stubborn and well-set in our views, but I think we've gotten good at keeping shit civil

(Aside from calling people sexist, and admitting that it's a baseless accusation aside from the casual musings of an individual who is not only contextually biased but also factually proven to be corrupt) :P

Joe biden is the most viable candidate or so I'm ventriloquizing.

Well do need to go or I'll be late, but I'll actually end it off here. But I think his candidacy might be plagued too much in controversy (even if its lies or not) as I said in another post. His campaign feels like its losing a lot of oomph. But I remember he was top candidate for a while, so it'll remain to see if iowa is a one off or if he continues doing poorly with voters. I supported him a ton, even posted about it saying he was my favorite candidate. But it kinda dropped off as I saw more of his debates and what not, and seeing his campaign kinda losing that initial surge of popularity. We'll see how he does, but I'd kinda rather it be someone else which is kinda a flipflop from my earlier posts in the thread.

I know I'm over 5 years late on this one, but what really is a "Bernie Bro" anyway? Is there a place I can go to observe them? Are they among us?

Also --

Many supporters pounced on Mrs. Clinton’s remarks, arguing that she remained out of touch with the working-class Americans who back Mr. Sanders.
Quote
Though Mrs. Clinton’s presidential defeat still weighs heavily on her, friends say she is busy with a variety of other projects, traveling to accept awards and honorary degrees. An avid theatergoer, she attends Broadway shows and has been spotted at several concerts, including Fleetwood Mac, Earth Wind and Fire and Billy Joel. She spends a lot of time with her three grandchildren and, this fall, released a book profiling “gutsy women” with her daughter, Chelsea.

-- Well gee, hard to imagine why. This reads like the blurb at the bottom of a wikipedia article on any wealthy or well-known individual, where an attempt is made to favorably describe the nonsense that the famous person's irrelevant trust-fund children get up to. That's how much of a footnote Clinton appears to be at this point.

I already linked the article to hillary clinton's interview and she has no reason to lie [...]

You mean besides blaming Bernie and his supporters for her loss in the 2016 election? And that he's against the establishment politics she supports?

Reading his name would trigger it. Thinking of him would trigger it. No other circumstances would trigger it- it was strictly related to the concept of Bill Clinton entering the conscious mind.

Bernie bro's mostly just a pejorative for the more rabid members of bernie's support base, particularly the vocal (albeit thankfully small in reality, near as I can tell) minority that's heavy on the left wing economy but less so on the social side of things. Generally stereotyped as white, male, and fairly privileged, i.e. the so-called "brosocialist" sorts.

If you see someone super into bernie, especially his economic stuff, but occasionally going into rants about the evils of identity politics or intersectionality or somethin', you've probably found one. They're fortunately not actually representative of bernie's support base, they're just... loud, in some places.

Well I do truly apologize for my overly aggressive posts and insults. I really do need to calm down when it comes to politics and religion, I can get pretty intense sorry about that. I've done that before in this thread.

It does seem though the media isn't too fond of Bernie, so I can see how it would look like they may do stuff that hurts his nomination. I still trust hillary though, but I can see how it would look. In a way, I think a lot about hillary were lies so I can see how others could see how a lot of Bernie are lies too made by his opponents to undermine his chances.

In any case, there's apparently numbers coming out for Iowa? Latest I saw before the site I was checking 502'd was sanders winning the vote count... and pete the delegate, because of-fucking-course the caucus is going to give us some 2016 horseshit to kick off the 2020 primaries :-\

E: though bright side either way, biden basically got shat on from both directions, so...

If they need to update or change any of that they just scribble it out and write it in the margins, maybe doodle a spaceship in there, you know.
