Wow way to jump straight to the passive aggressiveness over someone explaining where they first heard it.
Descan used it himself, without accompanying explanation, before he said where he learned it and what it meant. And it would be very odd indeed to use a word, and then when asked about that word, to explain its meaning in a different context than what you used.
Also it is actually possible to bring up the historical and contemporary scapegoating and stereotyping of Jews as a comparison without mentioning the holocaust FYI
Of course it is possible, but is this particular application of it a good one? I mean if one is going to use it, it's not really enough to argue that it's possible to make such a comparison
in theory, one has got to take the responsibility of actually saying that "this is a good comparison that I want to be making."
I first heard "sjew" used BY a self-proclaimed sjw as a deliberate tactic to point at how "the SJWs" are often blamed immediately for things they may have little to no relation to or impact on, and how often they're treated as some conspiratorial force trying to destroy (Western) culture. Among other flavours of blame, like SJW is often used as a pejorative or epithet, similar to how some spit "He's a Jew," or how they're actually often conflated, like that all SJWs are controlled by Jews.
There are other things that fit that description though: Lizard people, the NWO, FEMA, the UN. If the goal was to mock it as ridiculous, "The SJWO" (Social Justice World Order) is more obviously false, and has less, ah, implications that for example SJWs are being persecuted similarly to how the jews where (because you see, unlike "The NWO", actual people bear the consequences of those conspiracy theories). One might, of course, make the argument that SJWs are persecuted similarly, but they'd have to, you know, actually
make it (instead of, as the fashion is nowadays, to argue that one
could make that argument and move on from there, as if having 'proven' that such an argument is possible is the same as actually making it).
To speak for myself than, I'd say the fairest comparison for Descan's SJW friend is to compare them to McCarthy's socialist hunting: chasing a phantom enemy, attacking people innocent of that crime for merely appearing like one (or worse, attacking those whose crime was merely to be critical of the investigation itself), while achieving nothing. That's a comparison I'd buy. But Jews?
Really? I mean I ain't going to boycott you or whatever for saying that. Man, you wanna say that, you do what you want to do. It's not a big deal. But it's a pretty meh-at-best comparison to me.
