At which point, they should attempt to seek legal and physical protection of higher government authorities, such as direct from a governor, or for the national guard.
At no point, short of a complete and total betrayal of the social contract by government at all levels, should vigilantism be considered a valid or desirable option, no matter how hot you are around your collar.

Ok that is a reasonable response, pretty much in line with how I see things. When rule of law prevails, such things are unnecessary and dangerous.

Still, despite higher killcount, I'd argue that nazism is morally worse than Stalinism. Stalin killed everyone who either opposed him, or that he deemed a threat. That's mean, that's cruel, that's terrible, but that's rational.

Any case, because it's unconnected to anything, neo. Nurture plays enough part in how humans work who you were born from means pretty literally nothing when it comes to considerations like that. How you were raised might, which who your family et al can have things to do with, but that's entirely not the thing being addressed.

It is sadly relevant to the thread, but isn't exactly on topic... But it isn't often that I hear someone actually make that statement that we shouldn't kill people because of their ancestry.

I never get the "stalinism not communism" argument. The fact that no country has ever successfully reached communism, by that definition, seems pretty damning.
