Good work, man! This is great. A bit of it's custom, right?

A few things I notice: some of his cloak on the left side looks pretty pointy and the inside of the fold is weird too. The shading in the bottom left could use a bit of work too, but it's still really good.

Actually, the only "custom" work I did was cleaning up the leftover bits of floating clothing and patching up his neck after I spliced someone's head onto someone else's clothing. If the art looks jaggedy anywhere else... I blame Intelligent Systems

Yeah, I'm considering giving him a different hair colour or something since this is a pretty basic splice, but... it's pretty decent as-is. As long as nobody starts complaining that they keep seeing him as <whatever this guy's name is>, I'll probably keep it like this.

Also, on a second viewing, his jaw looks too straight and smooth. Maybe try staggering a few pixels on that part so it looks more natural.

Bio:
Jackie (Short for Jacqueline) Marlowe is the first child of the two daughters of the Argaven family's head mage. She showed an early talent for anima magic, if a tendency to gamble on hitting a lucky hit during practice.

As an Argaven mage, she was raised in their remaining estate. As a consequence, she was in the right place to be made playmate and handmaiden to the young Lady Isabeau, and has grown up alongside her. Her duties as retainer involve companionship, serving (or rather, organising the other servants) and as a last-ditch protection for the young lady. She'd like to consider herself one of Isa's closest friends, when it comes down to it. The notion of the Lady heading off to reclaim the castle and leaving her behind was unthinkable!

Enjoys stormy weather, but feels the cold easily. Despite her conservative appearance, has a streak of rash behaviour.

Bio:
Soren is a younger man, having only seen twenty years. He is the third son of the relatively minor noble house of Varan, and as such far less of a concern than his older brothers, or even his older sister (who was born first). While his oldest brother would inherit the lands, Soren could look forward to a future as a bargaining chip to secure some alliance or other in the future. Sure, nominally he was trained as a young lord would be - including in the sword, which he proved even better than his brothers at - but while he was young and perhaps a bit overly energetic, he was not a fool. The fact of his future had never sat well with him.

The Varan family has held a long time allegiance to the Argaven family - even when it fell to ruin. Soren had met the Lady Isabeau once before, when the two were children, and found the girl likeable enough. So when the call went out to aid the family return to prominence, he went - with his parents’ blessing at that, them assuming that their son being friends with the Argaven heir might come in handy in the future, should it return to it’s glory.

Bio:
The Oxtal were a minor house allied to the Argaven, of which Lysander was the second son in a family of three children. As the second brother and last born, he could not look forward to much of an inheritance, and so in the interest of having some sort of skill to survive his lack of a large inheritance - especially since his older brother had little interest in supporting him - he was trained as a mage in an academy. Which wasn't without costing a pretty penny, of course, but the family could afford that.

Unfortunately, the machinations of nobility do not stop for one's studies, and fate had not been kind to the Oxtal especially. One day, he returned home to learn of his father's death. With his brother at the head of his family... His studies never reached their end. Seeing little reason to be kept around only so long as he could aid in forging an alliance with another house, he resolved to make do with what he had.

...It had no been very succesful. With what money and assets he had inherited running short, he had been this close to swallowing his pride and returning home, when a retainer of Isabeau's Uncle who had once seen him as a child chose to aid him. Teaching him the way of the sword, in lieu of magic, his newfound mentor ensured he would have something to fall back on aside from his rather spotty knowledge of tomes.

It had been a few years since. His training had recently finished, and he was ready to try and put his training into practice. How convenient, then, that he heard of lady Isabeau's need for allies soon after setting out. Eager to make a name for himself, and to aid the Argaven in the process, he went to her aid. Perhaps, once all that was over, he would be able to take over his brother's estate... Or maybe just set up his own. Plenty of time to decide.
