I would be up for High Priestess of Prophecy. It's a cool archetype with a lot of variants.

We could also go for Artorigus king of the noble knights, that archetype has a lot of variance too.

Both of them have dark sides to their archetypes too, so if we ever want to go beserk or go dark they are good choices :p.

Number of votes for the High Priestess of Prophecy indicates that will be the one that will be used, but what is the answer to the second question going to be?

Personally, I think a balance of utilizing Spellbooks and Spell Counters would work well, with a good amount of Prophecy monsters. We could have a little room to make it more focused on Spellbooks or more on the counters from time to time, for a little variety. Let me do a little more research first.

Focusing mainly on the prophecy monsters and spellbooks with spell counters being a side thing would probably be best.

Up to everyone though.

Let's start with that, Kansa. It will be easier to use than trying to manage both the counters and Spellbooks. Later, we can expand further into the Counters, and see how well that works.

I guess our dueling style should reflect our deck then.

How about slow and planning every action out in advance before hand?

It would be slow in the beginning; Once things start moving, her plan knows just how she could/should react to the opponent's actions, letting her pick up the pace with confidence. I can see her remaining calm, even in the face of defeat, but she can get rather nervous when her plans are interrupted or broken. Lastly, I think she might try to look at the text for every now card her opponent plays, figuring out where it goes in the big picture of things.

I decided to look into the High Priestess card in Tarot, as it'll be out signature "monster", and prophecy cards are based around the Major Arcana of taro cards. I found a source describing potential personalities based on it, right here.

Now that I think about it, the style's pretty appropriate for a suggestion game; the players have plenty of time to consider their course of action from what they do know, so they start to anticipating how things could go, what things they would want to happen, how to handle the things they wouldn't want, and so on.

After a bit of thinking over what you would classify as your signature card and dueling style, you finish filling out the sheet and hand it over to the relevant school official.  They print out a basic ID card for you to use during the placement exams, as well as giving you the number they will call when it is time for you to come up and duel.  You hear a number being called and you realize it may be awhile before yours is called.  What do you do?

Is anyone else here applying for the school? If there are, try to talk to one of them. If there's a lot of people, prioritize someone who's alone, maybe introverted, or someone that looks like they could use some help.

Looks like someone here is using a Ninja deck.

Give us you lonely, your wallflowers, your loners, your fifth wheels and embarrassments(but not that one kid who wakes up in the middle of the class and screams that they will be the best duellist ever, we don't need nor want that one...)! Then we will use our protagonist-imbued mind-control(Asking to be their friend should work, plus a duel, obviously, (except the first loser we meet but they are expendable...) I mean, asking to be their friend does fix all their problems, right?) powers to make them fanatically loyal and induct them into our personal army!
+1
