You have been recently entered into a duel school within your local area and are about to start filling out a set of forms in order to get your school ID.  You begin with filling in the first question: What is your name?

Eugine Mondo Jack Spade?
Edit: Maybe rejected names can be other students in the academy. Also, is this Yu-Gi-Oh, or card games in general?

Finally have a game completely ready. Wait a week before posting it out of laziness.

Former.  I should note it won't be limited to just the card game's standard format.  Have a few variants I may eventually be using.

Ok. I wonder what sorts of formats we'll face. 4 Player? Monsters only? 2D Field movement?
Also, Luke E. Draw

Tag Team, Battle Royale, and 2D Field Movement are options.  A few others would be Boss Duels, ones where random effects apply akin to the Pegasus Ultimate Challenges, as well as potentially taking a bit from this story's explanation of how the weird stuff in Yugioh was pulled off (use Ctrl-F and search 'Super Expert' to get to the relevant section.)

Doesn't look like we'll be able to decide on a name anytime soon. Same for gender- we have two males and two females I personally have no preferences, other than being against Keto Saiba, and a slight preference for a male character. What else is on the sheet, anyway? Deck choice? Preferred playing style? Favorite archetype/series?

Stuff like that.  Only asking for two-three things at a time (ex. Name and Gender this time (Names tend to imply the latter)) in order to reduce the frontloading required.  Sure a lot of it is basic, but as you pointed out, there are four voters so far and four different names, split equally along male and female.  Interesting that no one is trying to use the Yu* prefix that every protagonist used in either their first (Yugi Motu (DM), Yusei Fudo (5Ds), Yuma Tsukumo (Zexal), Yuya Sakaki (Arc-V.  There's also Yuri, Yugo, and Yuto here, but they are merely other dimensional selves.  Remember seeing there was some thought the female Yuzu (Zuzu in the dub) would have been the actual protagonist, but that proved untrue), and Yusaku Fujiki (Sixth Series guy)) or last names (Jaden Yuki (GX)).  Not making that a requirement, just mentioning a bit of what appears to be a tradition for protagonist names.

How about 'Yuzuki' as a last name? Aiden Yuzuki might work. Or Aya Yuzuki, for a girl.
