@Austro-Hungary:

The Empire quickly shook itself out of the shock and began strengthening their current holdings.

@Ottoman Empire:

Meanwhile in the south-east, the Ottomans were left to their devices, building and moving armies about.

@Kingdom of Italy:

Vowing to avenge Florence and not let the Frenchmen get away with this betrayal, the Italians counter-attacked!

Quote from: Combat 1 in #63
Kingdom of Italy (+1) vs 3rd French Republic (+2):
2+1 vs 8+2
Italian army destroyed!
Quote from: Combat 2 in #63
Kingdom of Italy (+1) vs 3rd French Republic (+2):
5+1 vs 4+2
Italian army routed!
Quote from: Combat 3 in #63
Kingdom of Italy (+1) vs 3rd French Republic (+2):
5+1 vs 1+2
French army destroyed!
Academy razed!

It took the Italians the force of three full armies but they recaptured the City of Arts, unfortunately with its prized University burning down in fire.

Meanwhile, the corps in Libya marched northwestwards to capture Tunis.

Quote from: Combat 1 in #79
Kingdom of Italy (+1) vs 3rd French Republic (+2):
8+1 vs 2+2
French army destroyed!
Fortifications razed!

And conquering they did! The important shipyard and military center was captured although the fortifications will have to be rebuilt.

Amidst all this, the ships of Regia Marina launched from their ports at Venice and Benghazi. With the regnal edict, new nationalized factories were built in the eastern parts of the peninsula.

Research Dreadnoughts!

Announce that all Spain's researches are totally open for everyone still!

Offer Military Alliances to the Kingdom of Spain and the United Kingdom

ACCEPT THIS and wonder if anything else was missed!

1 fleet from the West Med. to the Tyrrhenian.

1 army from 76; build a Fleet.
1 army from 73; move them to 72
1 army from 73; 'attack' Portugal!
1 army from 71, travel by sea to ...65? Which is empty? o_O And...just raise the Spanish flag over the capital while being confused on why it's empty?

1 army at 72; Build Mil HQ there (1 army remaining from the move order)
Build Labs at 71

January 1914, in which Spain nearly forgets about construction queues.

@Kingdom of Spain:

Spanish soldiers pick up their rifles and go on to conquer places!

Quote from: Combat 1 in #75
Kingdom of Spain (+1) vs Portugal (+2):
3+1 vs 4+2
Spanish army destroyed!

Unfortunately the Spaniards haven't fought anyone in last sixteen years or so, so the Portuguese easily beat them up.

Naturally the Spanish decided to attack someone more defenseless - like Rome!

After its capture, the new Spaniard overlords of Italian peninsula ordered all Italian territories to surrender.

With the advent of mail and receiving and transferring messages between Spain and Italy (and then there was German mail in the wrong section), Spain wonders why there have been no mail (or tea) from Great Britain for some time. Spain would love to hear from those who are in alliance with them.

Let's try something different.
France contacts the Netherlands and offers to station troops there, to help them defend against another German invasion.

Netherlands refuses and promises to shoot at French soldiers if they cross the border.

A letter was sent to all nobility of Spain, "Dear our Spanish brethren as we gazes out from our mighty fleet we must inform you of our thoughts of villa for our officers and men which we will establish when we come visit" with ending there.

Build Academy on 2# and 4#, Airfield on 83#.

Rattle our sabres and declare war on Spaniards and accept military Alliance from thee Germans.

Moved 1 docked fleet from 5# into Channel, move 1 fleet from North Sea to Bay of Biscay and move 1 from North Sea to Norweigen Sea.

Ferry 1 unit from 3# to 1#, ferry 1 unit from 4# to 72#.

Move 1 fleet from East Med via Libyan Sea to Ionian Sea and move docked fleet from 83# to East Med, then ferry 1 unit from 84# to 67#.

Have 1 unit from 5# cross sea channel to attack 54#.

France declares war on the UK in defence of its ally and asks the Germans if they will not do the same? Naturally, the French fleet will engage any UK fleet passing through the Channel to attack Spain

The german empire replies that while spain is an ally, they sent the alliance offer prior to the UK invading. As spain's invasion was caused by it's alliance to france, it has but one option: War with France

A letter was sent to all nobility of Spain, "Dear our Spanish brethren as we gazes out from our mighty fleet we must inform you of our thoughts of villa for our officers and men which we will establish when we come visit" with ending there.
Spain corrects the mighty English spelling with more punctuation, and affixing a grammatical note of plurality back as a retort in response. It is worded much like an insult, although semantically, and ends with 'So what about your feud with France?!'

Spain grumpily browses through history and the bloody English-French context and wonders where and how Britain got their boxers in a knot and suddenly drove a fleet of their ships into Italian waters.

The german empire replies that while spain is an ally, they sent the alliance offer prior to the UK invading. As spain's invasion was caused by it's alliance to france, it has but one option: War with France
Spain sends more quesadillas alongside letters. The first one generally had the idea of "So how goes our alliance, Germans?", because much of it was vague from being accidentally splattered with oil and cheese.

France declares war on the UK in defence of its ally and asks the Germans if they will not do the same? Naturally, the French fleet will engage any UK fleet passing through the Channel to attack Spain

In one of the lighthouses in Northern Spain, someone spots the English Channel having far too many ships to be a normal English patrol. Some of them have the French flag, some of them look like privateers, but what was obvious was that there was going to be a fight!
