Check the East Gate out, then.
Arcodo can't see very well here, but notices that he is standing on some sort of blackened ground. What little light exists here is in the form of tiny, floating wisps of flames that slowly and gracefully float around. He can make out the ground- some sort of blackish purple stone. It is also sweltering hot, and Arcodo would be sweating buckets if he were made of fleshier material.
In addition, every movement he makes is more exhausting as the gravity here feels much higher than the other realms he'd been to so far.
A particularly large wisp of flame seems to be following a set path to his left, lighting the dark up and revealing a narrow passage inside a stone wall next to him.
"Hey, spooky guys, why do you want me to leave so badly?"
Attempts to make conversation with the strange figures
Ringer tries to speak with the same apparition that just attacked him. It shouldn't come as a surprise to say that this was a poor course of action, because the ghastly figure immediately lunges with both hands for Ringer's throat, but [5] passes through. The ghost screeches in a frustrated manner, apparently unaware of its incorporeal state.
The touch leaves Ringer feeling even colder, and odd thoughts creep into his mind as the shapes that were drifting into his vision begin to take form as shadowy tentacled masses of dark.
The fear is almost too much for him.

Change boomboxSummon his left kidney in a bucket of ice.
[1-1]As Mr Bones 'calls' for Holiday's left kidney, he finds instead an armed pineapple grenade floating inside of a bucket of what smells like gasoline.
Mr Bones mentally swears as [6] he tosses the bucket as far away from him as possible, landing neatly on top of a slot machine 15 feet away. Wow.
The bucket explodes, flames and shrapnel tearing apart the many slot machines and causing a large fire to ignite on the casino floor.
"Killing my dealers is one thing, skeleton. Setting my casino on fire is another."
Holiday stands up from his chair at the table. Leaping over it entirely, he attempts to perform a flying tackle on Mr Bones but [1] misses wildly and crashes into the ground behind him.
Slightly stunned, Holiday manages to raise his hands over his head to guard from any oncoming strikes.
"Prismata, snap out of it. You told me you were a star. You're gonna to let this eldritch bastard smother your light? That twisted pulsar is a perverse imitation. Show it what true light is. Shine, Prismata!"
I can only guess that the exaggerated panic is due to my link with Prismata, but that goes both ways. Send her my courage, stubbornness, compassion, conviction, anger at this eldritch pulsar, defiance of the will it is trying to impose on us, whatever emotions and beliefs I can offer to strengthen her resolve. Have her emit a protective light, to fight back this mind-warping effect upon us, protect us, and hopefully deal with the threats to us. If that doesn't work, summon back any essence we have lost and fall back through the gate. If attacked, shoot or stab my attackers.
[6]Tobias' rousing speech stirs Prismata out of her terrified stupor and into a vindictive sort of berserk valor. "How dare they! HOW DARE THEY USE LIGHT AGAINST ME!"
Prismata [6+2-1] calls upon a large shield of light from her position, covering not just Tobias but the entire group and then some. Everyone damaged by the realm's effects feels their sanity coming back to them, and the attacking cadre of ghosts scream in pain as their hazy forms begin to dissolve. Tobias [5,4,6] rapidly slashes through the remaining three apparitions with his mech's gladius.
With the ghosts defeated, the distant pulsar seems to emit a repetitive pounding sound as it's bursts of light become more rapid and its hazy blue appearance reddens.
The light shield will protect everyone from this distance, though, so there is currently nothing to worry about.
Ok. I'll stay in the hub maybe one or two more turns. For now, I should at least be able to move around the Hub. Find a nice empty spot along with my elemental, preferably without anything flammable. When I do, try and repair my familiar.
Trudging through the Hub, Crimson takes a seat on a stone bench just outside the apartment and attempts repairing his elemental.
[4+1]Jets of flame spurt from his hands and coil around the withered elemental, assimilating with the fire it is made of and fully repairing it.
That's when Crimson feels another surge of pain from his chest, and after doubling over for a moment the pain passes and he feels like his magic is beginning to change.
Aim at the figure closest to me, fire, and then draw my sword.
Unfortunately for the gung-ho cyborg pirate, all of the ghostly figures within range were just swiftly vanquished by Tobias and his archminotaur accomplice.
Y4R instead decides to begin the process of drifting towards the two figures in the distance that are much larger and covered in more chains than the ones that were just recently slain.
To do so, he has to leave the light bubble- he is once more vulnerable to the odd effects of this plane and is no longer resistant to the ghost attacks.
I Look for a new gate to head through.
Larry noticed how a gate appeared in the Agonist plane after its Archminotaur was defeated, so he figures that this one should have a new Gate too.
And it does. Stepping through, Larry ventures into the unknown...
This place reeks. The pungent and metallic odor of blood and other bodily humors permeates the tainted air.
Larry, being a goblin is used to horrible smells so its nothing too abnormal for him.
The ground he stands on squishes and squelches, seemingly constructed from packed deposits of flesh and bone that extend as far as the eye can see. A thin, reddish mist makes it a little harder to see. It is only enough to moderately reduce line-of-sight, however.
West plane ho
Trier is back in the somewhat familiar Realm of Glass that Prismata previously controlled.
Near a collapsed column of glass on the cavern floor, a new arch-like formation he recognizes as a Plane Gate has appeared.
