After all, even if they somehow decided they could trust us, which would be somewhat stupid, there's no way they can trust other similar scum to not kill them if they're unarmed."

Perceval just shook his head, not wanting to deal with her anymore. She pretty clearly had far more faith in humanity than he did. The enemies had no reason to trust them, plus the end result of them surrendering was unlikely to be much better to them than dying now. But it wasn't worth the fight at this point.
