I don't think that'll work, I'm afraid. From the sounds of it they just move to sea if the province is attacked.

Although I certainly don't envy your position, the HQ comparison thing isn't that bad; I'll hit my max army limit far sooner than you wil (and have other borders to defend), so if you can hold out for the next few turns I could bog down for a long time.

On another note, Haspen, I'm afraid I'll be away until Monday so feel free to let the Germans etc. go ahead of me if necessary.

But if enemy territory gets captured, then its no longer enemy but yours, so you would be moving your army back and forth for no gain really v:?

Or one army captures enemy territory, finishes move, then next army moves through to next enemy territory.

Possible, Kashyyk did that against Austria v:

Security; if the first army captures it, I want the second army back at base. But I can't give conditional orders. Thus, this.

Side note: If I'd had fleet in Tyrrhenian, this still would have happened, I would just be in less vulnerable of a position once it had happened. I could not put fleet in Ligurian. Only thing I could've done to actually prevent this is put an army in Florence, which would've meant one additional border territory elsewhere would be vulnerable. I had two armies to distribute, and apparently effectively five (meaningful) border provinces to defend, three of which were next to France, and I still put both of them next to France. >.>

Well Spain is ok with forming alliances with everyone and is currently OK with France because they're being historical. So at the moment Spain shall be poking south Italy. If anyone has concerns, please send messages to Spain. We're trying to be historical o_O

Wasn't that after the Hungarian places got attacked? Which isn't happening yet?

Also France didn't attack me yet and historically, we all joined in just because of defense statuses so I won't be attacking France yet, and will prod southern Italy and...oh. x.x Well at the moment I'll be joining France anyway. o_O Spain just wants that tiny SW corner of the world (and to 'test' out military alliances by moving their forces on foreign allied soil/sea!)

I just noticed that while I was making my post and I was thinking "Okay, go for that island without the port and all and move my other fleet to the Ligurian and wait is that Capital undefended @_@"

Then I wondered who I'm an alliance in and that would dictate my stances and saw only Britain/France, and then looked at the wincon and shuddered at the 'one player generally win', and then noticed the undefended Capital again.

And now I'm all :I just like the FIRST(ish) EoD I played in with Sheb!

And...yeah, but the UK hasn't sent me mail at all :c so Spain only has French mail, alongside some French fries as snacks while reading said mail. Also Italy then mailed them and Spain was like 'oh okay sure', while sipping Venetian wine, and sent a response that didn't get replied to :< and then without any response, Spain had to do stuff.
