: "What else would I be?" Gilbert asked in a self-deprecating manner. "I received some religious training and learned how to use staffs, but eventually I decided that the priest's life did not fit. I picked up everything else as I went along. Have you never had desire to be something other than a warrior?"

[Caellath]

"Literacy aside, do you have interest in learning anything else... Maybe proper dress codes and etiquette? You did recently discover your heritage and it might be important in the future."

[GiglameshDespair]

"I would not  know what you are. It seems in this land Priests even take their masks iff in front of others."
Quetzalxochitl paused.
"I... have wondered sometimes of other things. But... I am warrior, as the gods have willed. I only know fighting. I would be useless at other things."

[Twinwolf]

"Ta be honest, I ain't sure how that sorta thing's gonna work for me or if I'm gonna need that sorta learnin'? I ain't magically a prissy noble just 'cause I met my dad, and I ain't exactly about ta inherit the place or ask for that kinda thing. He didn't say he was gonna give me any sorta recognition like that either. I don't know whether what I want plays into it with nobles though, especially when he's playin' dead. You probably know noble types better, how do ya think it's gonna work?"

[Caellath]

"I would like to tell you that it will not be necessary, but to be quite sincere to you... I have to say you would be better off knowing at the very least the basics."

[Twinwolf]

Wynne rubbed her forehead a bit in irritation.

"...Guess yer right. I take it yer offerin' on that too?"

"Say, not that I'm complainin' or ungrateful or anythin', but why're ya so interested in teachin' me things? We didn't really talk 'fore this, so I'm sorta wonderin' bout that."

[Caellath]

"Would you rather I be reluctant about it?" he asked in a deadpan tone, before following up with "While literacy is important, you might as well be prepared for the future with other useful knowledge."

"And I am interested for the same reason I like teaching others. I want to have students to make them stronger and more capable, and strength comes in many ways."

[Sirus]

: "Priests in this land do not usually wear masks, except for some rituals perhaps." When Quetz said that she'd be useless at things other than fighting, Gilbert scoffed.

: "Bah! Everyone is useless when first they start something new. When I left the priest school, I could not ride. I could not shoot a bow. I learned to do these things. You can learn as well, if you wish."

[Twinwolf]

"Huh. Not sure what I expected ta be honest, but that's a nice reason. Thanks, again. I'll have ta live up ta that sorta expectation."

[Caellath]

"You are welcome."

[GiglameshDespair]

"I would know not what to try."
"I will think on it, Gilbert."

[Sirus]

: "It is all I ask."

Sensing that the conversation had come to a close, Gilbert decided to try and find Sybil.

The white-haired warrior woman wandered to where Sea was.
"Sea. Your are Sybil's acolyte, yes?"

"Uhm... She calls me her apprentice. But if you mean do I study under her, yes. She teaches me a lot about magic and I do what I can. Like with my gems. Uhm, what's your name again? I... I only remember that it starts with Quetz. I'm sorry..."
