"My everything hurts..." Wynne mutters as she staggers to her feet, using her lance as support. "Ya think they could've had a few less axes? Anyway... like I said earlier, I'm Wynne. Good to meet y'all."

"Nice meeting you. Gotta say, you held your own pretty damn well. Better than a lot of us. I don't know if it means too much to you considering we just met, but I'm very impressed."

[Twinwolf]

"This armor ain't for nothin'! Thanks for the kind words.

Ayway, where were y'all going before the bandits showed up? We were heading to some lady named Sybil's mansion, for a job."

"...Well that's a hell of a coincidence. Yeah, we're on our way back right now. I'll vouch for you, maybe she won't make you right the mud golems."

Ava mumbles into the dirt.

[SOLDIER First]

Caius raps her on the head with his staff.

"Come on, Ava, say something next time."

[Felissan]

Simon tries very hard to stand back up waiting for one of the healers to pass by.

"I'm Simon. Well met."

"Fighting mud golems? Is that a test for us? That's surprising, this whole thing didn't seem like what you'd hire some particularly competent fighters for, maybe some average bodyguards at most. People back in town were saying this is fishy, and I'm starting to agree on that one..."

[Chevaleresse]

"I said I hope my face didn't get as messed up as yours by that knife."

[SOLDIER First]

Caius opens his bad eye, revealing it to be milky-white and unfocused.

"I will maim you, girl."

[Chevaleresse]

"You'd have to catch me first. Besides, I've seen way worse than that."

[SOLDIER First]

Caius whacks her in the ribs with the butt end of his staff.

[Blade Master Model 42]

"Can you two not? Please? Especially you Ava, you're being an asshole." Then Caius cracked Ava in the ribs. "Lock it down, both of you! We just got finished fighting for our lives, act like fucking adults!"

[Chevaleresse]

"Oof. . . Um, I thought we were having fun. Banter and all that, yknow?"
