Lian tilted her head in curiosity, but it was plainly apparent that the thief did not find anything of use to her. Her eyes swept around the room, taking into account the alertness of the guards, and after a moment of pause, sighed.
: "Wonderful. My objective in coming here was for naught after all."
Gently placing her palm on her forehead, she took a deep breath and a longer pause. When the archer lowered her hand again, she looked at Sybil, her face still as stone.
: "So this is what all this raucous clamor over the past few weeks has been for. How audacious. And here I was thinking your request- in having offered so much- was an obvious hoax. I am almost tempted to continue that thought."

[Caellath]

"Now that you know the true extent of the task, you also know the pay is proportional to the risks. Why not join us?"

[Blade Master Model 42]

"We are going to need all the help we can get, I suppose."

[Sirus]

: "I am honestly not certain if partaking in a coup d'etat is worth a hundred-hundred gold pieces, but oh well. I suppose there could be worse circumstances to be in. Like a lifetime in jail."

[SeriousConcentrate]

  "Oh, yeah. Wynne's twin there was the girl who got you locked up, wasn't she? Ain't that some irony?"

[Sirus]

: "Yes, this is the truth. I am not certain that she has recognized me yet, but I shake to think of what will happen when she does."

"I don't think she has the authority to jail you anymore, if it makes you feel better."

[Caellath]

"You will be fine, Gilbert. Both you and Lady Victoria are part of the same effort, and if that is not enough to convince her to forgive you, I believe Sybil would do it."

[Sirus]

Drest's sudden appearance sent Gilbert halfway through the Sign of Warding, but he retained enough presence of mind to turn the motion into a flourish as he pulled a rose from thin air.

: "Perhaps she could be persuaded to forgive with a lovely gift!"

: "...perhaps not. It was that sort of thing that led to my incineration in the first place."

"Incarceration."

[Sirus]

: "Ah? What did I say?"

[Blade Master Model 42]

"You said incineration, which is to be burned, generally to ash. Given that when we met you were in jail and you don't look like a burn victim, I'm pretty sure you meant incarceration."

[Sirus]

: "Ah. Yes, I see the issue now."

[Twinwolf]

Wynne turns back to Victoria.

"Well, seems like we won't be havin' any problems. Ya fine with me checkin' in with the others and seeing what I missed? I'm sure ya have things ta grab or people ta see 'fore ya go." Assuming an affirmative answer, Wynne walks over to the others.

"...So, lots of stuff happened. I think I missed some things after leaving. Anyone care ta fill me in?"
