After Ava indicated that the door was unlocked, Eric raised a foot and slammed it into the door, causing it to fly open. Eric slammed the foot back onto the floor, addressing the guards assembled beyond the doorway. "We're here to meet with our employer. You can either get out of our way, or we can try our best to disable you without killing you, which I refuse to guarantee. Your call."

"We have already beaten the rest. More is no problem."

She raised her voice a bit to speak to the guards.

"Y'know, it's in both of our best interests if you just let us through. There's more of us than there are of you, and for once I'm not even interested in cleaning this place out. So just let me talk to my boss and we'll be on our merry way. No need to stain the carpet, right?

That still sounded more threatening than I meant it, hm. . ."
