"You're right, Spoonicus. Actually, the Sabbat may be even more of a danger than the usurpers. You wouldn't happen to know anything about this, would you Spoonicus? You have a great intuition.."

Expend a blood point on Dementation 3

‘Oh, Cesar, we must be careful, I think there is more reason to worry about the Sabbat than those filthy northerners. They are but peasants, but the Sabbat, they are reckless terrorists. Not to mention, I have received reports from my troops that the Sabbat always seem to hit at the same time as the northerners. Seems too coincidental.’

Cesar and Spoonicus chat for a while, and the train keeps powering along. It is then that a metallic thump is heard as something giant collides with the train.  A few seconds pass before the whole train lurches to a very sudden stop, the lights cut out, and the whole party is thrown from their seats. Though the train has very suddenly stopped, the vampires inside haven’t, and are thrown several rows down the train. It wasn’t a crash, as no carriages moved off the tracks, but no train could stop so quickly.

The party is left in the dark silence, in a train in the middle of the countryside that is unmoving. Sunrise is still eight hours away, but there is no shelter here, and no sign of why the train has stopped. It appears all power has been cut. The vampires are uninjured, but rattled. What could do this?

What the hell was that? Smith asks as he pulls his bulldog out his pocket before running over to his duffel bag, and quickly extracting his Mk.14 EBR he shoulders it and attaches his medkit to his duster.

"Mean men are here! MEAN MEN!"
Cesar is having a bit of an episode now that he's been thrown around the train. He reaches for his .44 tucked behind his belt and pulls it, making sure it's loaded before his eyes begin to dart around and look for enemies. "Nasty usurpers! Sabbat agents! Come out with your ugly paws up and I won't dispense knightly justice!" Cesar screams at full volume.

Obfuscate Level 2. Stay still and quiet. Grab the M9 out of my pocket and load a mag.

"Что ебешь? Why have we stopped?"

Nikolai already has his pistol out, but now he loads it with regular rounds. He points it at the door if the cabin, waiting to see if someone comes through. He tries to listen for strange noises like shouting or gunfire.

The silence is pronounced, deafening in the few short moments after the… Is it an impact? Suddenly, the screeching sound of Cesar’s mad wails pierces that perfect, pitch silence.  For a few minutes this goes on, with nothing happening. Then there come thumping sounds from somewhere far off behind. They are growing closer, soon they are on the carriage behind.

Mirella’s gentle words carry through everyone’s minds. –They are searching the cabins. There are too many of them. Veterans, they are too strong.- There is a hint of panic in her thought. She is frantically trying to ascertain if she can help.

There is a brief silence before there is a metallic thunk on the carriage roof. There is the groaning of straining steel as a hole is torn in the roof of the carriage. The steel has been torn aside by bare hands.  A blood covered Brujah is on the other side of the opening, about to drop through.

Almost subconsciously, Ash has used Auxpex 1 to heighten her hearing. She has made out the footsteps of five vampires. Unmoving at the moment, she is imperceptible to the vampires.

Nikolai gulps as he sees the large vampire above them. He strengthens his resolve and speaks a single word:

"STOP"

Nikolai uses Dominate on the vampire. He also backs away from the hole in case it doesn't work.

Hey, hos, your a brujah, so I'm gonna give you once chance to get the fuck out of that damn hole, before I put a bullet in between your eyes.

Smith keeps his pistol pointed at the vampire, if he makes anything approaching a hostile move, then he'll shoot him and spend a blood point to activate celerity.

Nikolai gulps as he sees the large vampire above them. He strengthens his resolve and speaks a single word:

"STOP"

Nikolai uses Dominate on the vampire. He also backs away from the hole in case it doesn't work.

The brujah looks confused, but doesn’t move. He stays sitting where he is above the hole. It’s then that one of the others kicks him into the hole. He falls through, looking around, before slowly starting to stand.

The brujah is beginning to regain his senses somewhat, and though he doesn’t yet get up from the floor, he snarls at Smith. Smith sees fit to activate Celerity just to be careful.

The other vampires are laughing through the torn roof at their friend. This seems a game to them. It’s at that point they all look up in the same direction, toward the front of the train. All but one run off in that direction, another vampire choosing to instead drop through the hole.

He echo comes again, the voice of Mirella In the heads of the party. –I can distract these few. Make it worth it. –
The one who dropped through the hole seems considerably less dazed.

"Feel my knightly wrath, filthy usurper slime!"

Dementation 4 on the Brujah, aiming to render him catatonic

The daze is just starting to wear off when the Brujah is hit by dementation 4. His daze, combined with poor mental attributes, mean he fails to resist. His eyes dialate, and he drops completely to the ground, babbling something about salad forks.

Walk calmly towards the back of the train.

Ash is doing a decent job of staying invisible, and hasn’t been seen, but at this point reckless ash sees the opportunity to pick a fight, and shoves her way forward to the front of Ash’s mind.

The second vampire steps forward, turns out he’s a Brujah because he hits Smith like a truck, obviously using Potence. Smith is hit for 8 regular damage by the vampire’s fist. Smith barely retains consciousness, however everything around him is swimming, unfocused. He can’t seem to make his body stand, and seems incredibly clumsy all of a sudden.

"DO NOT TOUCH THE SMITH! DO NOT DEFILE HIS WESTERN FACE WITH YOUR SLIMY USURPER FIST!"

Going berserk on the audacious Brujah, Cesar lets him have it. It, in this case, being the overwhelming madness contained within his cranium.
Dementation 4 on the Brujah that hit Smith, aiming to make him totally confused

Ash stops in her tracks and turns around, before striding towards the second vampire.

"Good job hitting him. Too bad I'm going to hit harder."

Taking her greatsword out she charges forward suddenly, swinging the sword to behead the offending Brujah.

Seeing that his comrades probably have the Brujah that punched Smith under control, Nikolai pulls out his knife, and stabs the one on the ground.

((There are two of them, right?))

Smith sights up and unslings his rifle, slowly pulling it to his shoulder he looks down the sight, trying to get the double visions to line up. Clumsily his finger pulls the trigger. His celerity letting him take the next shot imeedietlly after It.
