Things I'd like to do but just can't:
Why it'd be nice: We could preserve the main defensive line with Gilbert and Simon, be in a better position to recover Dale, and Dazar would probably not go after those three in favor of continuing to attempt to reach the wagon.
Why I can't have nice things: Neither one can move far enough to reach 4,6, and without that the bandit can run up and smack the recovery team. Boo.
Why it'd be nice: So long as Drest vulned her first this could bring Quetzie up to full or just about, didn't math it once I realized it was a no go. She'd probably get slapped by something, but probably not hard enough to immediately eat dirt, and she does have Wrath last I checked.
Why I can't have nice things: Despite the apparent proximity those damn cliffs preclude Gilbert having a space behind the line to fall back to afterwards, and the absolute last thing I want right now is to leave our healers out in front, though I think Caius is going to keep being stuck there because fuck me nevermind, spotted a nice alternative
Why it'd be nice:Apart from extinguishing human life being its own reward, reinforcements are coming and it sure would be nice to be able to approach the exit tiles for the map.
Why I can't have nice things: Unfortunately right now everything in her range hits her back for more than she does, and moving forward to find a suitable target would be about as sensible as participating in a shotgun barrel tasting, even with Eric guarding her for all he's worth. Turns out I can, we just needed Simon's help first.
So with all the whining out of the way, here's a plan, such as it is.
Brady to 12,5, slim lance mage B, canto to 9,5 (doubles, kills if both hits connect)
Caius to 10,5, heal Simon
Gilbert to 10,7, heal Wynne, back to 8,6
Simon to 10,7, give mage E a right seeing to (will not kill), have to use Iron Halberd
If Simon hits, Sea hits mage E with fire to just barely scratch out a kill. Otherwise chill.
Drest vulns Quetzie
Ava lends Drest her Worm tome in exchange for his vuln, and medicates Nick
Wynne stabs the absolute hell out of Thief (doesn't kill)
Eric guards Sea because its all he's good for
Unless I am hugely mistaken, there's not really much else for Eric to do, which is why I did my move right away. If you have an issue with the plan, please state what it is and why. If you think the plan is fine, please post to say so, so we can tell when there's a consensus.
