Bio:Born to Nina Osimer and Nier Isenlender as one of two twins Niedrhime and Nier II one male and female they were as one could say they did everything together they were friends she and him lived with their mother and father in what could be considered the closest to a middle class area the city had they certainly weren't rich but they weren't dirt poor and they were able to live in a higher degree of comfort. Unfortunately they did not receive the protection one would in the rich districts and when they were 12 years old going for a stroll down the streets they...ran into some unsavory individuals a group of the stabs.They weren't common in her particular area and it was a walk she and her brother had walked many times before they were taken off guard as they were held at knife point Niedrhime was panicked and shaking terrified as they handed over there money but Nier refused and he tried to fight back it did not end well and she saw a knife slide into his chest she screamed and managed to esca[e to home...after a few hours she was able to get the guards to come and help her and her parents.....but by the time they arrived nier was dead and his body was mutilated.The family was devastated and to be honest Niedrhime felt like it was her fault that she ran like a coward instead of trying to help him.Ultimately this incident is what broke her ideals of how peaceful and serene her life was she had thought life to be perfect in her mind.What had happened had shattered that reality and exposed her to a harsh truth her and her family were vulnerable and could die at any time.For several years she ruminated and held on to that knowledge fearfully.Until her 16th birthday were she decided to get a job at a local lumber-mill at the edge of the city.She to be honest actually liked the job it was honestly kinda nice in the forest and the swinging of the ax felt almost therapeutic to her ears made her feel alive...made her feel the weight of the world ease and allow her to relax.Everyday shed go into it with more vigor then the next..she felt alive to be honest and she was getting good at it good t the felling of trees.On her 19th birthday she ended up being brought downstairs into a basement of the lumber-mill there had been a fighting ring set up..the lumber-mill was host to a arena of sorts using training weapons of various quality ot was ultimately here where she gained her combat skill with an ax and where she learned to understand throwing axes this continued on for 2 years until she was 21 and she decided to quit.She had enjoyed her time at the lumber-mill but the fighting skills she had gained there made her feel as if she was wasting potential and her time...she felt something old stir and ended up hearing quite a bit about the guard and after a year of preparation she came to enlist..she wanted payback against the stabs and to maybe make some good money on the side for her family.

Starting Weapon: Singe

Bio: Sybella is a girl with nothing to her name save her clothes and a single fire tome, which is in a way perfect for the city of Uhambra. During her youth she lived in the slums and later learned from various shamans and mages inhabiting the place when her magical talent developed. Users of light magic were nearly impossible to find so she has a bit of a blind spot regarding light magic, not even knowing how to counter it.

Her decision to join the Uhambra Guard Force was a choice made of opportunity rather than a strong want to protect the city or achieve greatness. When it was between that and joining a gang, a relatively new gang at that, the former seemed like a better choice. Or, at least, she hopes that will prove to be the case anyway.

Bio: The Wilson family. If one were to list the commoners that attained great wealth in the aftermath of Uhambra's sweeping social changes, Marina Wilson would have to be within the top 10. She parlayed her success at being one of the city's finest clothiers into a vast business empire built on fashion. One can find M.W.-branded clothing in Uhambra's most exclusive stores, and even beyond the city limits. As something of a local celebrity, few details of Marina's personal life are secrets from the public.

One such secret: her eighth granddaughter, Violet. By some quirk of fate, she was born completely blind in a business where visual appeal is almost everything. It was a strange mixture of shame and pity that led Marina to keep Violet's existence a secret from the world in general; she was given the finest tutors (paid extra to keep their mouths shut, of course) and servants waited on the blind girl hand and foot, yet she was never allowed to leave the grounds of the family mansion without a heavy escort (typically with the entire family on one business trip or another) and she was kept out of the public eye as much as humanly possible.

As Violet grew older, she became more and more skilled at using her other senses to compensate for her lack of sight while simultaneously growing increasingly frustrated with her life-long confinement. She asked for (and received) self-defense lessons, using the rationale that if she were ever (heaven forbid) lost on her own, she'd be able to fend off would-be thieves and rapists. Finding these sessions immensely enjoyable, Violet requested further training in the art of swordplay, rationalizing that it was a sort of noble occupation and would make for an excellent exercise regimen. Though the "swords" were nothing more than lengths of wooden pole wrapped in cloth to minimize bruising, these lessons were some of the happiest moments of Violet's life. It wasn't long before she could reliably fight her trainer to a draw. Feeling as though she were finally doing something with her life other than sitting around in utter boredom, Violet appeared before her mother and requested permission to apply for the city guard.

Margaret, Violet's mother and now the head of the enterprise, denied the request most emphatically. "No daughter of mine", she cried, "will meet her end stabbed in the back by those murderous gang-thugs. Violet, dearest, why would you even think of doing such a thing? Those lessons of yours must have gone to your head; you are far too helpless to go running off to battle in your condition. No more lessons - tomorrow I will have that useless junk thrown away and that shall be the end of it."

Though Violet cried for some time after that, as night fell she became seized with a sort of manic determination. Swordfighting was pretty much the only thing that kept her sane these days, and if her mother was going to throw out the things she loved then she would go with it. She waited until the sounds of the mansion's occupants died away as everyone went to bed, crept from her room, retrieved the armor she wore for her lessons, stole a spare sword from the sleeping gate guard, and vanished into the night. She would prove, to herself if no one else, that she had what it took to be someone.
