Ingersoll was originally a captured troglodyte at a dwarf fortress. He was pitted against goblins and various beasts for entertainment. Once the fort inevitably fell due to a fire breathing titan, Ingersoll escaped. He continues to enter gladiator tournaments, since that's all he really knows how to do. Cave moss grows all over his body in long hanging strands, completely covering his true appearance.

According to your chart, a Breastplate costs 10, while a Mail Shirt costs 12.  I opted for the former.

Well, leather armor covers same areas as mail shirt, iirc, while breastplate covers less but is rigid unlike mail shirt.

Leather armor has the same layer size as breastplate and I think it is what matters here the most.

Reyn, why did you decide to buy a silver breastplate? It won'd defend you from much and it will slow your fighter down a lot. I think you'd get more mileage out of a full shield, especially since you've spent no credits on armor skill.
