"Well, I can't say I really blame you for mistrusting me for my company, if that's what a sorcerer is. We don't always have much choice of who we find ourselves with, though. Speaking of, it sounds like we have no choice but to find Ruby and Sunny and at the very least get them off this island alive, if they're still out there after three years. We'll be back for you, too. Trust me, things won't seem as hopeless when you can feel the sun on your face and the wind in your hair again." Gasozein takes a glance back at the map. "I know it's hardly customary to make acquaintances at the end of a meeting, but I'm Gasozein. What's your name?"

Make a mark near the bisected man's name on the map. Attempt to gather Saevire, Sayla, and Juniper together and head down the stairs and out of the tower, looking for the path to the residences. Call out to Lyssha or any others if I see them.

But then again, he's half there if I'm being an optometrist! Or was it an optimist? So I guess he's half alive!"

Juniper walks over to the bisected man, and kneels down, poking him gently.

Juniper:

"Get away from me! Filthy creature!"

The bisected man horks up a wad of phlegm and spits it at your feet.

Lyssha:

You set off on the path, walking for a short while between the trees before you arrive at a clearing with set of three cabins, one tall, one short, one half-burnt to the ground. A small wind blows through the clearing, lifting the ashes of the burned house a little bit before they settle again.

Sayla:

You follow Lyssha into the clearing, and find the same clearing that she does.

Gasozein:

After pausing to push Juniper away, the bisected man responds,

"Rinth. Rinth Leam. And don't say such sentimental crap to me, even before this happened I knew life was a steaming pile of shit."

You leave the tower, after making a mark next to Rinth's name, and quickly find the path to the residences, finding Lyssha and Juniper in the clearing by the three cabins.

You did however, leave Juniper with the bisected man. Eh, you're sure the two of them will get along just fine.

Again, I'm sorry for abandoning this game without notice. As it turns out, finals in college are significantly harder and more stressful than those in high school. Who would have thought, right?

You leave the tower, after making a mark next to Rinth's name, and quickly find the path to the residences, finding Lyssha and Juniper in the clearing by the three cabins.

You did however, leave Juniper with the bisected man. Eh, you're sure the two of them will get along just fine.

If that wasn't a typo, I cleave the doppleganger.

If it was a typo, enter the burned cabin with Lyssha and assist in the search. Bring out the map and try to get us oriented if we have time. "It sounds like this whole thing kicked off because some guy got cucked by a Jereshtrite, if that half-wizard is to be believed. We should probably keep an eye out for burly greatsword wielding brutes."
