The shadow snaps and hisses, gurgling with pain as the light from your palms pulse into it. It unfurls from Lyssha's staff and arm, two large, gangly arms emerging from its mass and reaching around your head.

Oh Gods, this is worse than any pain you've ever experienced before! You fall to the ground, shuddering as the shadow continues to envelop your head. But yet your hands glow even brighter.

Fortunately, Juniper rolls away, your sword only slightly grazing her arm.

Free from the shadow, you reel from the pain of the shadow across your arm. Peeking down to see it, expecting to see nothing but bone, you are surprised to see that your arm is completely unharmed! Strange.
