We are not alone in the galaxy. Restricted records of extraterrestrial extend back to the advent of steam, and it is speculated to go much further. Many of these were considered benign, isolated incidents, no threat to Humanity. Detailed study says otherwise. An increasing number of incidents occur each year and of those, an ever higher number have malicious intent. What were once brief sightings have transformed into something far more sinister, destruction, cattle mutilation and human abduction.

Individual militaries were too ill equipped to combat these incursions and too mistrustful of one another to cooperate. Thus in the face of this ever building extraterrestrial threat a secret council of nations was formed. Each pledged financial support and military assistance to this new Extraterrestrial Combat Unit. Each promised to work together to fight this new incursion. Each agreed to form the X-Com Project.

You were planning to have a 15 year old magical girl kill Witches by drinking them under the table!? It's original, at least.

I always like it when a GM takes the time to make a cool text art thing for their game. Unfortunately, I'm on mobile, so the effect is wasted on me.

+1 to either of these.

You should really look to the wilderness for your stealth ideas, it has been doing it much longer than you have after all. Take squids for example, that ink trick works pretty well, and in water too! So you just sneak into the dam upsteam, dump several megatons of distressed squid into it, then break the dam. Boom, you suddenly have enough water-proof stealth for a whole city!

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Heh. On my laptop it says X-Com, but on my phone it's a mess of randomness.

Anyway, looks like we're rolling with Jaques Smith. I'll get the next post up soon.
