You have traveled far to reach the Gargantuan Heaven's Sovereign Empire. It is a nation with a name that you found somewhat grandiose at first until you learned that it is named after its founder who was widely known by the moniker of Gargantuan Heaven's Sovereign for his physique was unrivaled. He was said to have stood over three meters in height with arms as think as a man's head that allowed him deliver blows that could shatter a fortress wall. In the end of course you find those tales somewhat far-fetched for even if this world holds countless miracles it is quite a strange thing for one man to shatter solid walls, but still hold quite a bit of respect for the nation's founder. Only those who had managed to attain the realm of a Sovereign would dare to claim themselves one and for the founder to have reached that distant realm shows he stood at the pinnacle of martial arts.

Of course, after arriving you spent a little while to learn of the nation's current state and found that it is currently at peace for its ruler refuses to expand its borders, and its people are content with prosperity they now enjoy. Even though the country itself is at peace it appears to be in the midst of a golden age for martial arts, the kingdom's military appear to be holding countless tournaments in dozens of major cities looking for talented folk and the two supreme sects of the empire are supposedly holding joint entrance exams of their own. Countless opportunities can be found in such a wealthy nation, but for someone with such a low starting point as yourself it will be quite a difficult path to walk.

What do you wish to do? (Seek out employment, research something, etc. Decide your course of action!)

Challenge the strongest with our Introductory Spear Technique? It is very likely that the difference between us and them is like the heaven and earth. -1 to this foolishness.

We need to strengthen ourselves and gather new techniques. I see a few choices.

1. Attempting to join a sect would be a good idea. Though it will shackle us a bit, being in a sect will give us some protection and a way to develop. And we can always leave, once the we're strong enough that it won't be able to stop us.

2. Of course, joining the military is also a possibility. However, I have the feeling it will shackle us further than the sects. And the martial arts available to soldiers are likely to be weaker.

3. We could find some employment. It allow us to gain some money, and if it will involve combat - we may become stronger by prevailing. And who knows, we might find something interesting.

I, personally, like the first option. Research the sects and their entrance exams. What are they famous for? What are their martial arts? Should we become an Outer Disciple, what will be expected of us? What will we gain as a Disciple? Sign up for the exams afterwards.

I vote joining the military. Too much nasty intrigue in sects, and in the military we can temper ourselves in (real) battle. In addition, we could marshal a sizable (disciplined) force of our own, if we reach a high enough rank. Although banditry is an option (we can loot the techniques of those we slay), it would be too risky- especially with our level of strength.

+1, when we're skilled enough, we'll start our own Sect! When the Sect is large and powerful enough, we'll move out of the Kingdom, and become a conquering warband!
