Adventure Mode Frustration
« on: December 23, 2016, 09:09:50 pm »

So I've been hunting a vampire among my own hometown, but I can't get any more specific information from the town than that he lives there. He even appears on the list of people I know from living in my hometown, but I have no idea where he lives. How can I find more information on where he is? I remember I once got people to tell me a cardinal direction, but I totally forget how.

I think you have to ask someone to guide you there.

Reading his name would trigger it. Thinking of him would trigger it. No other circumstances would trigger it- it was strictly related to the concept of Bill Clinton entering the conscious mind.

A wizard has turned you into a wagon. This was inevitable (Y/y)?

I think it's "ask for directions" when talking to someone. If you're in the town with the vampire, they'll say something like "Check the cottage to the east"

Just keep asking around 'til you find them.

Unless you are in a fortress, in which case they'll say "We're in Stupidmaze.  I don't know where to look".  Which means you have to greet everybody in the fortress :-)
