I'm having problem with dwarf fortress, when it enters world on gen on creating a region it always crashes on the forming lake part, I already put everything to minimum, and made sure only dwarf fortress was open in real time but it always crashes on the same part no matter what.

by crash do you mean it actually shuts the program down, or is it just repeatedly attempting lakes and not being able to do so?

also if you could ensure you save your world generation settings and then upload a copy of your world_gen.txt it would be helpful its located in your dwarffortress\data\init file.  make sure you have saved your settings and also let us know which world gen it is that is causing the problem.
