The problem is mostly that his face is beginning to annoy me. Want to replace him with something different, and as far as I know you can't edit existing characters like that.
Just wanted to make sure I can claim his stuff right after he suffers his unfortunate accident.

Demons are preferable to ravens.
A noble just suffered a genuine unfortunate accident.
Has that ever happened before?

Here's a quick question I had.. I wanted to make sure I wasn't making a mistake that would cost a few days.

If I upgrade a east/west street or north/south street to having two houses, does that get rid of the "street" status? As in, can no longer build new structures around the houses?

I know that huts for example require contact with streets, but would a house still count as the street? Sorry if this sounds confusing.. just trying to get this cleared up.

nope it'll still be a street but with 2 houses, then 3, then 4 etc.
Streets can go up to 10 houses i believe, while crossing can hold up to 8!

by the way, small tip: soldiers are no worse than settlers at building. in peace time, don't be afraid to use your soldiers to build huts, that way they are not dead weight! ( and perhaps they also gain experience)

EXP is mostly based on time taken on action, time skipped with tokens do not count toward that.
I'll probably end up having them build a castle or something big and slow(using trash material that I don't normally use for real buildings)... and tear it down over and over again as training, whenever I get to it.
Probably after I've built my inner wall, in order to keep out some foreign race/culture.

if you are near a river, you can use your units to build canals. They take a lot of time and as a result you might get a nice moat.

Some new character created today just killed one of my secondary characters. Good reason to start a castle on my main domain, I guess.

I'm about to be producing 87% quality rubies. This is exciting.

OK, I have to reload the save.
There was a bit of a problem regarding flashfreezing, a ballistae, and a barrel of dwarven ale. Gonna fix it up.

I have a few soldiers which could use some exercise actually. building huts still gives experience, but a little occupation might be better.

The guy is already getting a castle in 2.5 days.
The random he is killing looks like an inactive.
