With autoselling enabled, the game will automatically put the item up for sale at a competitive price, which is only useful if you don't plan on using the end product at all and aren't worried about getting the best possible price. There'll be some of these leftover pending sales that you'll want to clear as well after disabling it.

Apparently I settled very close to an entity known as Pravus. Supposedly I'm fucked but for now things are peaceful in my little slice of the world. Any other bay12 people in the warpath?  I'm hoping there's time to organize and expand before their territory encroaches and it becomes a warzone.

OK, I have to reload the save.
There was a bit of a problem regarding flashfreezing, a ballistae, and a barrel of dwarven ale. Gonna fix it up.

My other permanent domains

Cragvale - 01785W:22427N
Toddbend - 01936W:22382N
Vixlington - 03098W:17036N
Glimmerspire - 03028W:16911N

This domain is still being tossed up if I keep or fully liquidate, at the moment its the only domain I have with a wooden castle in it so its acting as a default spot for my main to rest.

So is there any reason I shouldn't just use a blacksmith instead of a nailmaker? They both seem to depend on smithing as a skill.

Automation really. The nailmaker will be able to make nails semi often while you're offline, while you can only micro the blacksmith while online.

That's fine then. Gloves are a wee bit hard to come by and the tannery isn't done yet.

a nailmaker can make nails on automatic, blacksmith can't. It's a major point since nails can be made fast and you need it too sustain the housing bubble. Also blacksmith seems more to be your jack-of-all trades in the iron indurstry including smelting the ore. A toolmaker makes more tools and have a skill for those requiring wood and the nailers makes nails on auto.

Given that Kot posted his awesome map of the north, I feel obliged to mention that there are plenty of southern B12'ers as well!

Hawkwoods (03719W:15435N), Tor Flunk (03247W:16536N), and Undermantle (02509W:15998N) would be three important east-to-west domains to note as you select your own starting locations, but there are a number of other relevant players in the area as well.

Lattterrrr, right now I'm planning on adding all the people who posted here, maybe changing the way the names go to include domain names and going down to Zaldor since there is crapton of people from Bay12/Allied to us there and then further south. And then make the map bigger.

24 hours after getting glove production up and running I've outfitted all appropriate workers with 70% quality gloves and sold 100 of them for a total of 8000 pennies with another 10k worth still in storage.  Given how quickly the first batch sold, I think I can get away with raising the price on the next batch.

I feel like this was a worthwhile endeavour.

Now if I could just get someone to sell me some archery gear (or hemp fibre so I can make my own), I'll have a proper automated flow of leather instead of having to rely on manually throwing whoever's not busy at it.

On an unrelated note, is there any reason not to expand your borders if you are able to?  Other than a couple of locations with some nice trees, everywhere nearby is just the same resources I already have, and I have more than I ever expect to be able to use as it is.
