Ah, I missed this apparently. Started the liquidation process, only demolished a hut and sold most things off, but I can fill in what you need if you still seriously want the domain. 
And you could get a new domain via me transferring it over to you.  Don't need to wait days for it.
Send the noble taking it to the town square and I'll have mine come over.

Nah, I don't care too much about it.  Also all of my heirs are currently occupied, and I think I have to wait another 32 hours or so to get another.

Thanks, I've settled there. Although south of my position, there is a larger town already. Pretty sure it wasn't there when I first went to the coordinate. :/

Finally got leather production up and running!  Even with zero quality hides (from spare settlers hunting bison and reindeer) I'm getting 51% quality leather, which is encouraging.  No longer shall I be subject to others' stranglehold on the gloves market!  (just the thread market instead...)

Dangit, I'm starting become more obsessed with building higher quality stuff. There's a few buildings I could probably start building, but I don't have construction specialists. I'd train them, but I don't have high-enough quality tools. And I only have one toolsmith, so he's pretty busy.

Alternatively, pick up as cheap trash tools as placeholders.  You can replace with good gear later.

Road work, buildings that don't require quality.  There is also taking a hit on 2-3% quality for construction quality if you can stomach that.  Keep em working so they could level.

Apparently in the new year they'll be getting actual hunting skill (at Lord level or above, so not at the starting 'master' level).  Not sure if that includes automated hunting, or just that they'll not suck at it when manually ordered.

You could send them off to claim and liquidate inactive domains to make some extra cash.

Personally as soon as I got a castle built I've kept mine locked up near-permanently, just in case someone randomly ganks them while I'm offline

it will expand from the edge of your border either way!

And it'll usually be predetermined, all the pieces of expansion are a jigsaw and you are forced to expand from certain parts based on which area is closest to your town centre.

The opening of this post got me intrigued, so I got myself a demesne here . Probably placed wrong, probably doing a whole lot of things wrong, but I got iron. Iron ,limestone and sandstone.

Hope that's useful for something.

Is there any indepth tutorial that'll show me the ropes, at least for the beginning, so I don't screw up too hard?
