Syldavia turn 1951
In the Republic of Syldavia the years start with hope of victory as NATO delivers the first shipment of Carl Gustaf Recoiless rifles.
In an attempt to gain the edge in long range fire power, work begins on a new light bomber for ground attack duty.
The new A-26 is a twin engined, three man light bomber.
It has a pair of remote control turrets, one below and one above, each armed with a pair of .50cal machineguns.
For attack there is a bomb bay load of 2000kg, along with a huge number of .50cal machineguns, eight in the nose, and four more guns in under wing gun pods.
Space has been left under the wings to mount rockets but no suitable rockets are in production.
With such a heavy weapon load, the A-26 is quite slow with a top speed of 550 km/h.
