"So, then you agree we shouldn't just get into this wheel-o-mobile without checking their identification! I refuse to move one step until they do."

She says, planting her feet into the Earth.

Angry doesn't even seem to notice or aknowledge the discussion.

"Now, I ain't disagreein' with yer doubts, but if they really wanted to kill us, by yer logic, they coulda just shot us down where we stand, or drugged us and been away with us long before now. And, long as no one was loose lipped about us joining this regiment, then there'd be a snowball's chance in Hell that they'd have known we'd be here unless they was sent by the Bureau. I won't make ya get in the coach, but I will say this: 'The monster is in the eye of the beholder.' Consider that for a bit, later on.

Get in the coach and ask the two officials their names.

Everyone going into the carriage knocks on the door, the door flying open as they enter. It's a large carriage, with a table with files in the middle. Sitting aside from them are the Agents. The male has ear length brown hair, while the female has white or silver hair. Both are wearing sunglasses. The male looks up to them and says, "Welcome gentlemen. I am Agent Iscariot, member of the Bureau's Intelligence Survey and Research Division. This is my partner.", while gesturing to his female counterpart. She nods and says, "Evening. I am Agent Rupree. We've come here since you are...shall we say, the best contenders in the local area.". Iscariot then says, "Monster Hunter Brooks Lyn Price has had an interest in new Monster Hunters to work for the Bureau. Before any meetings can be held, however, we must test your abilities.". Rupree opens the files, revealing an attractive woman in the center of the sepia. She looks scared and is holding a scroll. "Brunhild Costa. A messenger for the Scarlet Queen, one of the rulers of the Void. That scroll she's holding? It contains a stolen chemical mixture for a toxic gas. Our cameras caught someone stealing it, but they had a mask. Recover the scroll, but don't kill her or any monsters you find unless they fight back. They aren't rogue."

Agent Iscariot then says, "Any questions?"

"Yes. Where'd this happen at?"

I did it on purpose. You said you pretty much stood there, waiting for their badges. Thing is, whether they're Bureau or not, their still in the carriage waiting for you to come to them. They already walked in once, and time isn't a precious commodity. It's likely that they didn't even hear you, and the only reason they didn't question your absence was that they needed that extra time.

Still, nice job getting in character. If this game had a leveling system, I would get you a roleplaying bonus. Until then, enjoy just being appreciated.
