Anthramarux decided, quite suddenly, she didn't quite trust this Bureau, nor the man who had 'hired' her. 50 years was a long time, and she had a lot of options, after all.

She only paused to write a small note on a handkerchief with a pen.

Quote
Bad news. I've decided my fortune lies elsewhere. Farewell, and good luck. Remember to ask for proper identification, it might save you a lot of trouble.

P.s. No hard feelings Mr. Angry, but you're just not my type of mortal.

In that flippant mood, she stormed off, dropping the note where she was standing.

In a few moments, Anthramarux had left this tale for good. There were surely other adventures to be found in this wide world...but where they took her, who can say?

Maybe if you come close enough to see it, they'll show you some identification. Despite his choice of words he still has his friendly demeanor.

I know you just want to make sure that this is some good prey, it is.

(recencies considered, I think a rare double post can be permitted?)

As she leaves Ned reads the letter. (And I thought I found a way to keep her out of trouble... Her senses arn't wrong, the bureau has it's dark secrets)

It's fine.
He shrugs it off to the others. And directs their attention to the matter at hand.

I think we're all ready here.

The agents nod at Ned's words, Iscariot scowling slightly. "I told you we should have stayed in town and waited for Anthramarux, but no. Time was just too precious.", Agent Rupree says. Turning away from everyone, he snaps his fingers and the carriage begins to move.

((Just a small something to start everything up.))

Günter sits quietly in the cart, deciding to keep to himself for now. The way he sees it, they can't betray him if he doesn't let them get close to him.

Not kill anybody. Hmm, are you sure you want to give that to a brand new team?

That might take some teamwork we haven't developed yet. I had hoped you had something a little more... "noisy". But I guess this does need to be handled right now.

I'll keep them in order.

As a response to the words spoken and not spoken by the Monster Hunters-to be, Agent Rupree taps the wall behind her, sending the carriage going. Agent Iscariot then looks up to them, and says, "While we go to the drop off zone, we have to have some things ready for Mr. Lyn Price. Namely, about you. Would you be willing to answer any questions? If so, then I have a few. First, have you had any experience or encounters with Monsters or the supernatural before? Second, how long have you been in Angel Fire before? And finally, and this one is difficult-". He then gets interrupted by Agent Rupree, who asks for him. "Would you be willing to kill? Specifically, and if it calls for it, one innocent to save thousands? We only ask to avoid any incidents...such as-". "You don't need to know.", Agent Iscariot interrupts.

((Question Time! Sorry for the long wait before any action happens. Wanted to ease you guys into the setting.))

"As far as supernatural stuff goes, I ain't been around too much, aside from the few civil monsters and the like.

"I ain't been in Angel Fire for long, either. Jus' got here two or three week past.

"Yes. I'd kill my own mother, bless her soul, if it would save even ten people. Let alone a thousand."

"No, I have no experience with monsters.

I have been here a few times in the past few years. I came here when I was on leave for a week, and I came here for brief periods after I left the army.

I was trained to kill. I'll do it if I have orders to. Or if the occasion calls for it."

Ned simply allows a sly grin to surface.

"Yes. I'd kill my own mother, bless her soul, if it would save even ten people. Let alone a thousand."

Agent Iscariot looks at the average joe, JB Morgan, and nods stoically before saying, "Alright. That kind of sacrifice may be taxing, but hearing that you would may help with this city-state's needs. It's interesting to know about your experience with Angel Fire and the Monsters, given what we're doing here.". Agent Rupree then says, "What he means by that is that once you step out of this carriage, you're going to see some shit."

"No, I have no experience with monsters.

Agent Rupree is the first to speak, holding a hand out to shake his, while saying, "No experience, huh? Must be good to have that. I used to not know what a monster was. Now? I'm knee-deep in it. I also have deep respect for people in any military. Your bravery will pay off here, I can just feel it."

Ned simply allows a sly grin to surface.

Agent Iscariot looks to him, cracking his own grin before subtly nodding.

The carriage stops and the door swings open, revealing the fact that they are now on a hill. "We're on the Southern Isle right now. Hottest and most arid climate. Brunhild should be down there, along with a Coven of Vampires. They're not Daywalkers, so they can be easily identified with their umbrellas, or parasols as it were. Go down there, and recover the scroll containing the mixture via any means necessary. Approach however you see fit, but do not start fights unless they do, and don't escalate to lethal force unless they do.", Agent Iscariot says. Agent Rupree then says, "We'll be watching from afar, and aiding you if we absolutely need to.".

((Time for your first mission. Have fun!))

Take a jog down the hill, then wait for the others, unless they are also jogging then keep going until one of them stops.

Günter simply nods at the compliment from Agent Rupree, and exits the carraige after the briefing. He jogged behind the others, Sturmgewehr slung across his back. He keeps a disciplined eye out for anyone with a parasol.
