Elf, because closest to passing for humans while retaining immortality. Being a goblin, kobold or animal person can go quite badly, should you be considered a dangerous animal, if pleasure to talk to.

There are scant few other "man" creatures that are immortal - Iron man, for instance. None in modern animal men, though.

Were the first and second not concerns, maybe merperson/harpy or cave fish/firefly man for modern variants - it could be neat to explore the coral reefs and nigh-unreachable passages.

Dwarf, obviously. For anyone who says otherwise, I have prepared a deep magma pit lined with ☼menacing steel spikes☼.

Socks inspire the same sort of emotions in dwarfs that Helen of Troy inspired in the Achaean Greeks. Although it is said that Helen's face launched a thousand ships, socks have surely launched a million ultimately-fatal Store Owned Item tasks.

Heh. If one could actually create magma pits, would be awesome way to make a killing on the home appliances market. Powerless stoves/boilers/etc, anyone?

Seems like Dwarves and Elves are tied in the polls so far.

Meanwhile, I picked Goblin, on my own poll even...

My reasoning? So I have an excuse to spread chaos.

Said elf, then realised that entailed being unreasonably het up about trees, camping, and eating the raw flesh of sentients.

Not that I have anything against cannibalism in principle, but raw...

Since the option I would want (dragon) isn't available on the poll, I'll go dwarf. Because the powers of creation, magma (it's practically liquid fire!), and the raw ability to sculpt the world to my liking.

Elephant man! Finding clothes would suck but I could wield a platinum statue! Or a leaf/piece of thread.

I chose dwarf, but elves are actually slightly OP when they ignore their culture. They naturally live forever, and can easily become legendary in every skill, and inevitably become king once good enough.

Noticed something. Only one guy wants to be a goblin and that's me. Explain about what is wrong with being a goblin.

Being green or gray. Would make you easy target for discrimination.
