The sandworm has evolved a single large flat eye on the top of it's head to help spot predators. Upon spotting a threat, the worm will burrow down into the ocean floor so that only the spikes are accessible/visible to the outside.

Ah, MS-Paint. Truly an art form. Hopefully TinyPic is okay.
In the interior of the relatively barren continents, it seems a new photosynthesesizor (Note, I'm too lazy to correct spelling) has come to town! This plant consists of a convex single 'leaf' structure, supported by wood growths. It is about small bush height, and collects sunlight for energy.
Aww, I don't want to be a cunt, but the purpose of this game is to edit the other creatures and advance them, not to create new ones :(

Tinypic is fine though, if you decide to still edit something.

Aww. Eh, well. I thought it was like 'You can both edit and create for others to edit, but mostly edit' sort of deal. I'll clean it up and get something in the works.

Here we go- Something!
This member of Plumpolychos has developed slightly more powerful fins, allowing it to push its hulking body weight through the sea at slightly more efficient speeds. While still underdefended, at least it now has a chance to flee.

Ouch, sorry for the doublepost.

EDIT: Fixed, oops.

I think something went wrong with formatting 😂
Doubleposting is fine by the way, if anyone wants to edit two different organisms in succession.

Plumpolychos Tentaculus has developed longer and more sensitive tendrils, allowing it to feel the water currents/smell food or potential danger in the surrounding area. The tendrils can also pick up rocks and stuff.

Spinowyrmae Cilia grew small tendrils on the bottom of its body to assist in locomotion

Autism>Manus Autism evolves smaller tentacles on the ends of it's big tentacles so it can grab things better.

Florescus Balloonus took a different path from McSpiky, the initial thorny potrusions instead filling up with air, causing them to float the surface of the ocean, and flourishing the increased sunlight there, forming into clumps that float across the surface, serving as the clouds of the underwater world
