@Lord_lemonpie: I hope there won't be an extinction event any time soon?

Quote from: Ultimuh?

The Longorostro Flappicus eventually developed larger flares to cope with the rising temperatures.
And its "fingers" grew larger as well, but with a few modifications.
These fingers has the ability to grasp onto the ocean floor, so that it won't be swept away as easily by the currents.
Also tusk-like protrusions on each side to better sift through the ocean sands for food.

The Flappicus Tuskum has a straighter beak and longer and sturdier tusks than their cousins.
Their flares are also quite a bit larger, and have more flexible fingers.

A branch of Terrestrius Hanfus, known as the Terrestrius Hanfus Baubleis. This specimen seem to grow strange bauble-like fruit. Hence its name.

Terrestrius Hanfus Baubleis seeds burst out into the air and travels for many miles before it settles into the ground.
There are however those that continues to follow the howling winds and never really manages to settle. They seem to still be quite sturdy, and remains dormant for a long time.
These seeds are scientifically called Hanfus Baubleis Aero.

edit: I somehow broke an earlier post of mine. :(
I'll try to restore the images at least.
Managed to fix two images, forgot which the third one was, if there was one.

Let's just focus on these evolutions and ignore the troll, shall we?

edit:

The Upsididownu Stretchus is a larger variant of the previously mentioned.
It has much lower vision, but capable of stretching upwards and bend at any direction, so it can catch more particles and tiny prey to consume.
It has developed protrusions at its top which helps attract more food.

The has undergone a lot of changes.
Its eye has lost its advanced functions and now only serves to receive light, it will hide underground when something shadowy blocks this light. It grew more of them to cover more area.
And a sort of umbrella have grown from its protrusions, as to catch more food at a time.
Its tentacles have lost their functions and withered down to string-like roots of sorts.

Its spores are now larger, and serves a more sinister purpose.
These spores are waiting for a bigger creature to gobble them up,
only for it to slowly die and sink to the ocean floor, where the spores can start growing from the nutritious carcass.

As Turtectulis InfraBlingus delved deeper and deeper into the oceans, both pressure and temperature increased for the creature, it's skin grew thicker and also retreated further into its insulated shell, as well as developing a 'helmet' covering, to insulate the most important parts. Thus became known as Turtectulis Infra-Legatus.

Turtectulis Infrablingus has developed its body even more to allow it to survive in harsh pressurized water zones. Its hard shell covers almost all of its body and even the tail has become shorter. This being is known as Amonitas Infrablingus.

This dead?
I hope not.
I think its still a bit too early to say, considering that Christmas and news years have been just recent.
I think Lord_lemonpie is simply having a break from the festivities.
