While this is not a bad idea. I prefer to not attract more attention to Fellshore. I see no pressing need to finish that ritual as fast as possible. Mischa's whims are not that important. Still we can do the ritual... before temporary leaving fozdoch

I find it funny that most plans proposed have no Nokluvgn actions at all  limiting him to the mastermind of the cult. Note that we are noticeably weaker than we were two months ago. With that kind of progress the angel will come and anihillate us with no effort at all. We need to do Evil. We need to become stronger. We need to use our assets like wights who are extremely powerful undead beings(c)
 
Leaving the cult to care for itself while we go for a war abroad allows us to
1) Get more personal strenght
2) Give Malkus useful combat experience
3) Generate refugees that will flee to Fozdoch
4) Assemble an undead army
5) Possibly get another cult in another country
6) Draw attention of forces of good away from Fozdoch
7) Give Duke good excuse for militarization to defend from the undead
horde
8) Test Duke, Mischa and Kate and see if they are capable leaders
9) Empower our wolf-child by sufferings around him
10) Entertain us by doing something more fun than babysitting the cult

This is never going to work.

Remember, us pretending to be a good guy heavily damaged us. I do not think a good guy could willingly allow evil to exist. It seems like the very fabric of this universe rejects such things.
Spoilers: The forces of Good do not have to follow the law. The law is not (necessarily) Good.



Anyway. I sense a dilemma. To leave, and grow personal power; or stay, and grow cult power.
Well, either option is viable. You lot can choose whatever you want. I will say that if you do choose to grow your cult, it might be wise to dedicate more of their energy towards growing your power, through worship and sacrifice. A stronger demon leads to new possibilities.

+1 to making a counsel to guide the cult in Fozdoch in our stead.  Five people would allow us to have the Duke, Malkus, Kate, Mischa and someone else we decide later or on a whim.  We could have them meet and plan not in person but in disguise in dreams maybe?

I'll support a plan to start a war somewhere and drink in a ton of evil and ruin some other land.

Okay here is my plan:

Cult Action:
Inform the cult that you are leaving for few months and form a clear chain of command  Parliament of Evil>Wordbearers>Lesser Wordbearers/creations>cultists>slaves. Parliament of Evil is appointed by Nokluvgn. Current Parliament of Evil will be - Duke, Kate, Mischa. Let them decide how to make cult more powerful in your absence.

Villagers of Felshore:
Infiltrate Oegorda as refugees, spend the Duke's resources on secret parties and recruiting more in the city.  At least two wordbearers should join them.

Nuulyd + Mischa + Nokluvgn:
Kidnap the rich folk, their families and prisoners who do not want to convert.  Use all our subterfuge assets to do this, smokewraiths and ultraviolet imps, oversee the kidnapping ourselves and our cultists.  Use them to complete the ritual.  If we need more people kidnap more people from the streets.

Duke:
Get him a wordbearer to oversee him and they should keep working on converting nobility in the castle and his knights.  Keep taxes high and send resources to the cults in both major cities.

Kate:
Stop learning magic for now.  Until we return she should oversee the recruiting in Oegorda.

Malkus Rom + Nokluvgn:
Have him prepare the Nails under his command and his mercenaries for war against someone.  Ask him what nearby country he wants to plunder in our name.  Then move our forces to invade a place.  Take Brutewolves and wights along as well.  See if we can hire some more mercenaries with the Duke's money as well.  Take a wordbeaer and keep them, the Brutewolves and Wights separate from the Nails and mercenaries.

(I want Malkus Rom and the Duke's take on the wealth and military might of nearby countries)

Not so sure if this is a great idea. With the presence of a demon child within her, she's probably among the most detectable members of the cult. Oegorda is the place where there's something that has detected us, and we have so far been unable to find it.

Sure sure I guess.  I just feel we are coddling her and the baby too much.

I was going for the - " A war would kill millions, we are ok with not going to war if you leave us alone" approach. The broader masses would not go to war. We would occasionally spread the stories of how badly our villagers across the border would be treated, and in their inaction their evil would grow. An avatar of good would be alone and would sooner or later throw itself against our united frontier of evil. after a large portion of them would be gone we just declare war to ... Take Over The World! (of course).

Nokluvpn should start with abortion service #2 to grant a boost to himself and his unborn child if possible. talk to it to prepare it. We should repeat it once every month until it is born.

Cult has better ways to spend its resources. We lose little by having no branch there. Cult needs to guard the mine, build a temple, convert the castle... there are no place

I don't think that adding nails and merceneraies increase strenght of our force that much but  they create unnecesarry links to Fozdoh and reduce cult power at home. Cult need its soldiers to operate.

Wights+Demon+Malkus+Brutewolves is a very respectable force and will do fine without nails.

Lesser Wordbearers
Teach Kate and Mischa how to mutate other humans in Lesser Wordbearers. Lesser Worbearers are similar to Wordbearers but noticeably weaker because they are created by pathetic mortal magic

The ritual
Kidnap the rich folk, their families and prisoners who do not want to convert.  Use all our subterfuge assets to do this, smokewraiths and ultraviolet imps, oversee the kidnapping ourselves and our cultists.  Use them to complete the ritual.  If we need more people kidnap more people from the streets and\or make some prisoners 'disappear' from the prison

Re-organization of the cult
Create an unholy parliament of 5 called Nokluvgn's hand. Current members will be Mischa, Kate, Winner of the tournament(Alice?), and the Duke
Inform the cult that you are leaving for few months and form a clear chain of command  Nokluvgn's hand >Wordbearers>Lesser Wordbearers>Cultists>Slaves.

Mischa is responsible for magical training, making magical artefacts, maintaining control over imps and undeads
Kate is responsible for recruiting new members.
Former priest is responsible for construction of new underground temple and organizing regular worship of Nokluvgn.
Winner of the tournament is responsible for training and security.
Duke is responsible for getting resources.

Each of them receives control of roughly 1\8 of cult's power with 3\8 being left for living usual lives.

Nokluvgn+Malkus
Assemble a small and sneaky but deadly force composed of 10 spectres, 8 wights riding brutewolves, Malkus on his horse and the demon himself. Stealthy cross the border with Tokzoku Empire, go relatively deep in their territory, attack a village, kill everyone, raise villagers(including long dead ones in cemetery)  as low-level undeads and move to attack another village. Repeat few times till we have a respectable undead army and\or attract attention of someone powerful, then decide what to do next .

Five leaders is almost as good as 3, and we have enough leaders to appoint. Malkus is not one of five because he is going with us. Later he may be appointed to this position. I kinda expect that those five will not b set in stone with our children or future powerful converts taking the position.

Don't matter if we are going to leave or stay, before that we should do the abortion ritual in Nuulyd and absorb it's evil, Teach Mischa this ritual so she can do some "birth control" to get energy toward her experiments.

Leave behind some to do list for our leaders
1. A hidden temple in Nuulyd after conversion of guards
2. A to-kill list because at this time we can just accuse anybody of being the killer.
3. Further conversion of Oegarda and smaller villagers.


We can do a little tour, play a little with the empire, give a reason to the duke arm himself and later play with the tribes.

Ok, at the very least just call the enhanced cultists just that. Enhanced cultists. It is psychologically better to use positive words in positions. A junior boss seems less valuable than a senior janitor. it's why the junior position modifier has not been used in companies for almost 70 years.

Abortion ritual is a nice addition to the regular worship so +1 here. But we should teach priest\Kate\Wordbearers. They are ones who should do such stuff because we need that energy more than Mischa and her experiments.

Heh heh heh. There's nothing more evil than poor HR practices.

Anyway. It seems there is a sort-of consensus around Strongpoint's latest plan. Let's do that, then. Unless anyone has something to add.
