Preach a twisted version of the faith to start luring the villagers into darkness
+1
Go into the woods and find a wolf. Transform it into a wolf demon thing.
If an apex predator is found dead close to the village ripped open with its guts strewn all over the tress, people WILL worry.

Tonight let's find a pack of wolves and modify one, leaving the remains of the others.
If we're going to be doing all this sickening pious stuff it might be good to have a distraction.
Being in front of the public eye we need to have something or someone that can do things that we can't be. Something hideous to do the very dirty work. And perhaps inspire our sermons.
You open your first sermon in the normal manner, speaking of Jilganheim, worshipped in these parts as the god of freedom. But you soon start talking about Jilganheim's other aspects- those of chaos, madness, and spite. As you speak, you apply your powers of corruption to the congregation, ensuring that none of them will think anything amiss. You feel little effect so far, but over time, you should manage to corrupt many of the villagers.
In the meantime, you spend your nights leaving the village and heading out into the surrounding forest, abandoning your human disguise, flying between the trees as you search for a suitable vessel.
On the first night, you find nothing. Perhaps the beasts of the forest are more attentive towards signs of Evil than humans?
On the second night, you are again unsuccessful. You take out your frustration on an oak tree, smashing the trunk to pieces, and setting fire to the remains.
On the third night, you are about to give up, when you feel a sense of
hunger in the distance. You follow this feeling until it leads you, at last, to a single starving wolf. It growls weakly at you, but makes no attempt to attack- recognizing even in its famished state that such a move would be suicidal. Having found a suitable host -albeit less than you had hoped for- you set to work, seizing the wolf and revealing to its primitive mind a brief glance of your true form, causing the wolf's cries of terror to echo through the night. You silence the wolf with a word, then carefully pluck out its eyes, and then, as the wolf spasms in pain, you materialize two burning coals to replace them. You carefully pour some of your power into the beast, granting it unnatural strength, then set to work reforming its tortured mind to suit your whims, granting an increased intellect, a demonic hatred of all things pure and righteous, and unwavering loyalty to its creator.
Once you are satisfied -or at least, as satisfied as you are going to get with this level of power- with the results, you release the devil-wolf and command it to terrorize the inhabitants of Fellshore.
Over the next few days, pleasant news reaches your ears. Villagers have gone missing in the woods, and some report being stalked by a massive wolf with glowing red eyes. An aura of fear begins to permeate the village, enhanced by the subtle influence of your dark sermons. You drink deep of the mortal terror, and feel your energy begin to replenish somewhat. Still, you remain hungry on a more physical level. You therefore decide to
-Snatch a villager from their bed and eat them
-Hypnotise a villager, luring them into a secluded area [where?] and eating them
-Have your minion catch a villager and keep them alive, so that you may eat them
-Go on a diet
