I feel that at some point we should convert the rest of Nuulyid and Castle Brylib, as having everyone in on the secret makes it easier to keep.
Yeah, I'd suggest getting the castle done first, as while a dark cult in a town is concerning for outside authorities, one in the provincial capital that's corrupted the Duke himself is sure to bring some serious shit down on us if discovered.

Perhaps we could also begin building more labyrinths in our other locations? Increase our secrecy, which is getting a bit harder to maintain with our increased membership.

Have Mischa create a urn of trapped souls lined with cursed gemstones.
Malkus should hang back, they know what to do.
Eat the hungover man.
Have the cultists keep recruiting the poor, no one will notice if they go missing.

+1, we need Malkus Rom to lead the mercenaries, and it would be difficult to find another warrior as corrupt and capable as him. We shouldn't send him off on a campaign that won't benefit us for at least another year, at least not yet. The cultists should do fine on their own, and we can always contact them in their dreams if we need to know how they're doing.

Nokluvgn should use the power of Evil to help carve out the Labyrinthine Temple, and place an Enchantment on the Temple to have the tunnels be filled with Demonic smoke and half-visible, flickering, nightmarish illusions, as well as be constantly shifting in seemingly impossible and nonsensical ways. To recoup the loss spent making a better Temple, Nokluvgn should raze and butcher a small and nameless hamlet in a foreign province, and have the Cult at Nuulyd hold an extremely lavish and obscenely perverse and debauched party,
which Nokluvgn shall personally attend, using some of the ambient Evil to further corrupt the townsfolk.

We should repeat the child sacrifice familial conversion a few times in homesteads scattered across the province, because that's an easy way to gain more followers, and is an extremely Evil way to do it.


What do you all think about enchanting Malkus Rom's weapons to cause burning agony and release black smoke when they cut?

You know, I almost worry that, with all the focus put on the lake in the thread title, the things beneath it is even more eldritch and unstoppable than us, and it's going to eat all out followers and challenge us to a Kaiju fight.

Misha makes whatever she makes, because we're no present, and the whole point is that she comes up with it herself. And no, the title of this game is not "you are a wizard", but DEMONHOOD.

Second thing: to a certain extent you get to choose what your underlings with free will do, as they try to anticipate your desires. On the other hand, leaving it entirely up to her ought to be a valid option. In fact, I'm going to edit the post to add it.

Looks like getting cultist in countryside doesn't give us much. I think we should stop this kind of recruitment altogether

My suggestion:

Find wizard's house. Attack it at night (Ourself+Smokewraths), convert(but don't make him stronger)\enslave\kill the wizard. Grab him\his corpse and his stuff and travel back to Fellshore to gift Mischa some toys if her work is good. Than go to your temple and spend the next month there to corrupt the place by leakage, force black imps to drink less and work harder and increase their number to 10, create 3 more wordbearers and 3 more smokewraths

Additionally, create a ritual that allows sacrifice of unborn children of cultists giving you power to do everything above. This ritual should be done by laying a pregnant woman on your altar and pronouncing a special prayer. Use it to terminate all unwanted pregnancies in the cult but don't take children that are wanted by their mothers, at least yet

Cultists should stop recruiting new members and invite no guest to cult's feasts. Released their power local cells should try to increase their secrecy. Also stop the construction of the wall in favor for magical training

Malkus Rom should volunteer for a commander position



I am worried that we are overextending and risk that us or our cult will be discovered is getting too high. Getting a wizard servant\wizard's corpse for necromancy is a good bold move before laying down for some time. We are strong enough to handle even a might archmage and should just do it before hiding in a safe place.

I don't think that we need Malkus yet, him getting some fame, experience, and recruiting more soldiers in other provinces is a great long term investment.

She'll say it is to ensure his survival and more easily store and spread his power, but it's mostly so that she can harness its power for herself.

That way, she can also one up that pompous brat Kate. She might have some bastard demon child, but Mischa will be entrusted with harnessing the power of and guarding a part of Nokluvgn himself, being close to it all the time. Along with any information she uncovers about the lake, this will surely earn her Nokluvgn's favour. And then she'll be the one Nokluvgn finds most valuable and likes the most... Not that she cares what Nokluvgn thinks. It's the principle of things. She's the wizard, she should be the best, not some random girl from a backwater fishing village.


This probably has a chance of failing horribly, but I think it will be fun to try. Because what's a demon's court without a bit of intrigue and potential for future backstabbing?

I don't think that cult can convert whole town or whole castle without our direct aid. Attempt to do so will likely spill secret outside because some people are just good and can't be persuaded to join. Also, I don't see that much use in Malkus

BTW, I think we should stop constructing the wall, it offers little benefit. It was started when Fellshore cult was isolated and had nothing better to do, now they can do more productive things

Guys, why do you want to risk secrecy of our cult? It is already risky and you go for more  risky actions converting of the city and the castle while moving power away from a very secret labyrinth construction and kinda secret wall construction (villagers may be little paranoid)

I noticed a thing, the rich people of Oegorda had more money, and bought more of our "blessed" fruit and will get fucked up for more time, the poor, bought less of our fruit, but they are already in dispair and easier to recruit. This shit can worke better than expected

Remember if the fungus will continue corrupting and contaminanting the next crops, we created it i think we know how it works right?
Discover if it will contaminate the river, as the rain washed some of the fungus away

inb4: We will become drugdealers with the "Pleasure Fruit" :D

We should focus on doing things that don't call too much attention, In Nuulyd they should go back in the plan of corrupting important key people so we can begin a new labyrinth in their underground.
(i think we already recruited all the influentional people besides the mayor there, the next steps were the prison guards, the militia/criminals and them the rest)

Order/remember them to when done recruiting the prison guards and criminals start doing another labyrinth in Nuulyd's underground
