The Wizard's Name: Medea Ridcully
(referencing my favorite two magic practitioners)
also: why is demonic magic called necromancy? it has little to do with death, right?

Necromancy is the catch-all term for magic evil in nature in this setting. Not just spells dealing with death or undeath.

Awesome.

As Miss Wizard is now firmly on our side, we could just just break the minds of the knights and Duke, then let her play puppet master to the entire duchy. Converting some of them willingly will make things easier for her and I imagine would improve secrecy as well.

I'd suggest converting/breaking the knights, then finally break the Duke.
+1 Have some of the cult members invite a couple of knights to a meal.
+1
I'm all for converting those knights - nice and slowly.
Having a few top-notch trained men turn over to us, will benefit us greatly. Well, more like our plans. Still, having a few dark knights to protect our cultists and wordbearers, is something we might want to spend a bit of power on.

+1

Also ask the witch if she knows any of the kights well enough to assist in converting them.
We should ask the priest too.
The priest is a slave, I don't think he has the mental ability to answer
But we can just invade what his mind knew. Like we did with the city guards and the priests, and both could provide information about the duke. So...
+1

Her name is... Mischa Alwiz. Yes, that's totally her name. Or Mis-Wiz for short. What a fortunate coincidence!

+1

Have the wizard tell the duke the priests were interrogating a Necromancer they believed to be the source of the evil, and that they'd make a report when they were done. Add that they have gotten a confession of working with the town witch to incite a riot.
hmmm +1?

1) Pro tip: some people use a different theme for the forums, most commonly Darkling (or something like that), in which text is white by default. If you want to hide text, I believe that transparent is a valid colour.
Apparently it is.
2) Necromancy is Demonic magic used by mortals. The reason it is called Necromancy is that it is most commonly (or at least, most visibly) used to raise the dead- to the extent that the average peasant would think that that is all it can do. Yes, it is a misnomer. Sue me.

Just call the wizard Archmage, because that's what she is now.

Grab the Duke and his knights, and corrupt them the slow way. If we really *have* to, we can break the Duke and send a minion to puppet him, but having him as a bona-fide cultist is invaluable.

Aren't we supposed to react to what happens in the game? If you're talking about the frequency of updates, I think that having an active thread is a good thing.

Spoiler: Omada Actions (click to show/hide)
This seems like a good course of action.

Just call the wizard Archmage, because that's what she is now.
I don't think that would be an availible name since Archmage is an actual rank/measure of power, and she's not actually that powerful... yet.

No, I suppose not. Congrats on your success!

I mean shorter to read updates then some of the longer ones, and at most an update one or every other day is about my participation zone.

Obviously there's a demonic hunger for how it's going so more power to them. I would appreciate a lazy person version you know but that's probably someone's spin off to do something like that. I still feel if I really tried I could keep up.

Last things I read were, we got a cool wolf demon thing, I check back what I thought would be maybe one or two updates later and we're banging some chick in a farm building and there's characters that I'm supposed to know about and it was just ridiculous. (how much had been going on)

I remember scrolling halfway down an update and stopping. Because I needed to catch a breath it was a lot of information take in from just halfway down. And if those just keep coming that's just so much change.

(Sorrry my mental stat is so low! I wish it was more up to Demon standards!)

Wait, what? Nokluvgn never 'banged a chick in a farm building'. That sort of happened in the first Demonhood, but not here. Unless I am going completely crazy.

Anyway, I'm afraid that long updates are kind of a part of the Demonhood brand. People seemed to enjoy that the first time around... but maybe things have changed?

Question: What do you think about update length?
-Too long. Shorten plz, or at least write a TLDR
  -Just right. Stay the course.
-Not long enough! Longer! LONGER! The original Demonhood had an update that exceeded the character limit, and I want more of that!

Anyway. Even though today is christmas (merry christmas, everybody), I may still get an update out. If anyone is around and wants to suggest something/+1 someone else's suggestion, do so now.

It seems that your confusion comes from reading 2 threads at the same time.
Last things I read were, we got a cool wolf demon thing,
This happens in Post #5 of Demonhood 2: (Nokluvgn creates a wolf-devil thing)

I check back what I thought would be maybe one or two updates later and we're banging some chick in a farm building and there's characters that I'm supposed to know about and it was just ridiculous. (how much had been going on)
This happens in Post #9 of Demonhood 1: (The Tall Man has some (not)incestuous teenager sex and impregnates the poor girl with his demonic seed.)

Nuke has a handy table of contents for all story posts at the begining of each thread, and also has a navigation bar at the top of his updates.
Demonhood 1: Krlnkir Yrlvnt
Demonhood 2: Nokluvgn

Question: What do you think about update length?
  -Just right. Stay the course.
I think this thread has had really good pacing so that we can accomplish things in-game without having to do a tonne of micro-managing.  :)

I agree. In fact, It was the length and pacing of posts that drew me in in the first place, more than the concept. Though the concept helped catch my eye.

Oh! Okay.

Well I'm glad I spoke up about my confusion. Must have followed a link and one thing led to another.

Read about two updates after where I left off and they were much more digestible.

(It was like our triumphant wolf demon disappeared! Lol, haha)
