As far stats go, focus on the shop, that's my advice. Just make expeditions and what not a roll for success, or you'll be designing two games.

Focusing purely on the shop sounds like better material for a suggestion game, to be totally honest.
I won't dwell too much on basic combat but exploration has to be a part of it.

Another round of criticism. This time featuring: Feat nitpicking.

Spoiler: Roboson (click to show/hide)

I really don't think the 'interacting with systems, robots, and other technology far beyond average.' is as helpful as the potential use against biological enemies as a "shred enemies into dust" type of weapon. This is a world where most of the tech is locked up. If you don't start with any drones (like GUNINANRUNIN does) then you're not going to find much use for that, so you probably want more feats. So there's that. Communicating with and hacking wireless devices isn't exactly special in the setting either. The only humans that aren't really able to are the Azure. And if you wanted to hack into a server outside of the dungeon you'd still need to decrypt passcodes like any old hacker without some kind of special item.

Anyways, like all Magicians you get to command natural objects like plants and stones to do your bidding. Maybe quantify to what extent Roboson honed this skill above his other pursuits.

This post is reserved for my character sheet. I will be posting it shortly.

EDIT: Sorry.

EDIT: Here it is.

Spoiler: Mattias Johan (click to show/hide)

What's the worst wound you've ever treated?

Spoiler: Millenus (click to show/hide)

You're going to have to define "invincible." Like, to what extent... rock-hard skin and such? Or just regeneration?

Reserved.

Spoiler: "Foreman" (click to show/hide)

See my nitpicks about Roboson's character about the usefulness of connecting to computer systems.

Do you want the drones to have some kind of mining laser? It'd be a ranged weapon, and balanced as such. You could also just make it a jackhammer-type melee weapon instead. You should probably give the drones stats (10 points) unless you want them to be the same as your main body.

If you want to drill through the dungeon... that's totally fine. ;)

Spoiler: Wilbur (click to show/hide)

I already commented on your feats so nothing new. Thanks for actually making your feats, well, examples.

Milenus isn't invincible yet, and although (I assume) it can sculpt its body to heal wounds, it wants to be invincible in a "attacks don't even pierce the skin" sort of way.

I know nothing about medicine in real life, so I'm not 100% certain which wounds are "worse" than others, or which ones would indicate more or less skill in medicine.

In any case, Mattias hasn't dealt with anything life-threatening, so his experience involving those situations will be rather lacking. Also, while he does know a bit about medicine, it's not his specialty so his skill is only moderate-ish at best.

He's removed a large piece of scrap metal from someone's arm and closed up the wound.

That sounds nice. I figured that would reasonably fall within "humanoid mining implements". I was so general with that because... I honestly have no idea what they'd need in order to go a-mining.

Given the lack of representation in the Strength and Constitution categories, I am thinking of adding a new mechanic:

Heavy Attacks are attacks which place great physical strain on your body, such as using your Speed to slam into a target, or using Reflexes to dodge a blow while standing on a bridge (and therefore jumping off). Basically, if you succeed this action, you also inflict a status on yourself, but you take a Constitution test to negate the side-effect. Constitution represents physical integrity in a lot of cases, but in this one it can simply represent having the composure to not fall over after blocking a major hit, for example. You could sometimes substitute this with a Strength test if the action is relevant, like firing a high-recoil weapon or performing a risky martial-arts move.

These attacks are a lot more powerful, however, so they get Hits on 4+ (5+ if you would Hit on a 6+ only).

I know nothing about medicine in real life, so I'm not 100% certain which wounds are "worse" than others, or which ones would indicate more or less skill in medicine.

Performing surgery with your Locus, perhaps? It could help if you don't have the proper tools--the Feat would just automatically grant you the tools for surgery whenever. Sewing limbs back on, surgery on organs, that kind of thing would be difficult without skills and tools, unless you're stitching together a Puppet of course. They're like Play-Doh.

Milenus isn't invincible yet, and although (I assume) it can sculpt its body to heal wounds, it wants to be invincible in a "attacks don't even pierce the skin" sort of way.

Diamond Skin and that sort of thing are all part of what the Pandora cells can do as part of the package. For Feats I was looking more at specific examples. Like, specific moves. Maybe giving your limbs minds of their own so you can throw them at people and have them strange things. Maybe you can lob chunks of yourself as bombs. There's possibilities that are more... interesting than "wants to become invincible." That's not a feat--What HAS your character done to prove he's made progress?

Rock drills and stuff. Mining is tough. I think I'll have the lasers be used mostly for prospecting and drilling pilot holes quickly, while the bulk of the heavy drilling will be done through explosives and require heave machinery. It also lets you tunnel through weak passages with hand drills, whilst not allowing you to drill through the entire dungeon in a matter of days. ;)

So three main abilities:
> Mining Lasers, narrow beam weapons used for prospecting. Special rule: Armorbreaker (Add a bonus equal to the difficulty of landing an attack, before situational modifiers like visibility and range, as well as evasiveness).
> Fusion Bombs, explosives converted from cold fusion cores. The machines are experts at converting a core into a bomb, but you need to cannibalize loot to do so.
> Hand Drills. They also have the Armorbreaker rule.

Feats:
 - Reclone: Millenus can transform any haunted body into a clone of its original form extremely quickly (10 seconds).
 - Husk: Neither Millennus's original form nor copies of it can live without being haunted.
 - Immortality: Millenus receives no modifiers or damage from physical aging.
 - Pure body: Millenus removed all its organs except its "brain", so any critical hits against non-existant organs are negated. The brain is Millenus's connection to the body, and any damage to it has a high chance of throwing him out.
 - Bodysculpt: Millenus can transform any (non-brain) piece of its body into any body part it has seen before, or any simple body part it can imagine.

In numbered order:
1) Standard Puppet shapeshifting, so you just get a +2 to this specific transformation
2) Pandora Cells can emulate brain functions. I don't give penalties for your character refusing to make a certain type of action, so unless there's a reason for this negative feat there's no point.
3) Standard Puppet feature.
4) Pandora cells are totipotent, but you can still have a brain. The effect of Puppets using their body as a collective brain usually leads to memory loss upon injury, so the fact that your character opts to keep the brain helps with that.
5) Standard puppet feature. I'll give you a +1.

Well, I'll finish my sheet tonight now that I came up with a good concept that I just need to write down. I'm leaving for work so I can't do that now. What is the limit on the number of feats we can get?

There isn't a hard limit because feats vary in magnitude. Five small feats is just as good as two large feats.
