Lets do some planning.

Maybe we can drop the top of a building on her.  If we can crack walls, we might be able to bury Jack in large amounts of rubble.  It would also hit pretty damn hard.

Also, don't we have a scimitar we can use in the not claw hand?

plan, it's six feet tall, it can fall somehow we can fill some alley with stick stuff or traps and make it fall between buildings, we can maybe doombolt her from a distance and give the chance to the other creatures to kill her or just damage her

other if our scimitar is gone for some reason maybe we can use the chance to grab some free weapons from the market

 :o my bad

If her legs can lose equilibrium, the fall will make us equal and her head easier to crack for good, we know alot about spidery legs to know HOW to make it lose balance

Can alexia-demon-arm hold the Ram dao alone? I mean, maybe her mutations made the arm stronger

(Hmm, maybe later we can make larger bolas for the demon arm?, with proper training we can gain synchronization with her, make her defend while we go for the weak points or defend ourselves while she focus on making the most damage we in fact can gain speed with this debuff even if a trivial speed boost because our brain will not need to send orders to both arms to defend and attack)

I'm wondering why it's fighting it out with the other monsters.  Some kind of plan there?

But yeah, poor footing could work, too.  We can probably tangle a couple legs, or pull her off balance.  Falls aren't going to be much fun when you're that large, and the weird mutated physiology is probably not as well balanced as ours is.

Or.. maybe both.  Smoke cloud (draining or not), to hide a couple of zombies, who run forward with some good web or wire between them, tangle or trip up Jack, and then we drop a wall on down.

...We're going to need a BUILDING to take that thing down.
If we even had a building that fit her. She's not standing straight. Lieutenants are tougher than they appear.
How do you know that?
Black Swordswoman. She was willing to talk about it. Though she called them Apostles.
It's that stuff that guarantees we can't ever turn this into a book. Copyright lawyers would devour us whole.
Horrible spider demon still present. Please focus.
Right, right. We could collapse a wall on it?
I have the explosives, but not the knowledge needed for a clean explosion. I'm likely to have half of it crumble uselessly.
First time I ever heard you say you can't do something.
I don't have time to do a thorough analysis of the building material used here. All I know is that it's white and seemingly made of a kind of stone.
We'll look into it on our own time. Still, maybe we could figure something out with a rope? Send some things forward and...

Just then, the Jack-thing leaps up about three meters into the air, and lands down on a particularly large beast in a spear-like formation. Then it just spreads its legs as if moving through water and completely eviscerates the creature. If it can jump like that, you'll need something really damn fast to tie her up. And there are no bolas in the world that would be big enough for this. Apart from certain modifications to a ballista, but you don't have access to a lot of siege weaponry. Really, this thing is a damn sight harder to kill than you'd expect. Best you can think of is hacking at the legs, but...
Oh yeah.
You have a big chopping blade.
I can swing it, but can I swing it hard enough? We both know anything bone-like on a lieutenant isn't going to be soft. Alexia whispers to you. You attempt to just "think" your way at her, to see if that works. It does, you get her to shut up through a particularly pressing bit of thinking. As you think about chopping weapons, you DO remember that you bought an extra scimitar, which is perfect for your offhand. Or, well, it would be if you were trained for dual wielding. You're a shield user, mostly, and with your arm not working on a 100 percent the same wavelength it'll be difficult. You're capable enough to work with both hands on the slashing front (though your non-demon arm WAS a tad more dexterous)...
It'll take some getting used to, is the point. Main thing to focus on right now is finding out how to best deal with this thing...

Okay, leave it for another day, remenber the city, maybe we can gather some supplies or stuff that can break this beast apart, on some another store somewhere, or on the doctor,

or in the BAZAAR
(bonus point: we get info about or mama and maybe we get some drider friends)

specially, while (or if) in the doctor, we need sucy to check our butt

I mean, our sting.

keep an eye for dead rodents and stuff that can be reanimated

--------------------

We need to remenber to make our pidgeon or cat to comunicate with the order to coordinate stuff, maybe they can delay the nuke and give us coordination or tips, or even better, GIVE SUCY BACK THAT MAILCASE WITH THE BLACKHOLE It will put down the creature, or damage it enough to make it killable

We could also pull a Samwise and go with one giant stab when Jack is coming in for a landing.  I doubt that'd be a one-hit kill, but it should get us some undivided attention.  After that, Jacks too big, so we might be able to make it into underground tunnels to get away, or force more damage by making Jack smash into buildings.

Lead off by resurrecting one or more of those bird-things, and using an undead flashbang to the face.  Then lets see if we can remove a leg or two.

fuckin

I don't give a damn Lieutenants come apart like any other collection of matter lets just cut her until she is no longer able to operate.
Any enemy can be visualized as a structure to be demolished, and we happen to be well-optimized for demolishing with this arm and weapon.

Yeah, I suppose your right.  We should find out if we can hurt it or not with our current weapons.  And if we keep it distracted, our friends and allies can gather supplies.  Hopefully we'll be able to outrun it.. we're like stupidly fast.

I'm going to see if I can damage her or not.
What?
You rush out from the alleyway, unsheathing the Ram dao and using the scimitar in your off hand. It's a bit odd, but you'll make it work. You slash a bird as you sprint forward, and slam your Ram Dao against the bone leg of Alexia, who was still a tad distracted while she was stomping on a larger creature. The ram dao flies ahead, with the force to slice through nearly anything.
Nearly being the operative word, here. The hard bone only barely even chips, and a small scratch is all that remains from the incredible amount of force you applied. Well, other than a surprisingly painful shock through your arm from the rebound.
Syd... Ney...
You hear, gurgled from Jack as she invades your mind.
Oh shit.
You elect to make a run for it as the cumbersome creature turns around and begins to walk towards you, impossibly sharp legs leaving behind holes in the ground itself, and crushing an errand attacker with more anger than sense.
Kind of like you.

You do your best to outrun her, but despite her trouble at turning around, her long legs allow her to run as insane speeds. The silver lining to the situation is that the creatures duking it out on the streets have enough sense to run for their lives from the two large spider things running after eachother and murdering anything close. You try to find some kind of alleyway to duck into, hopefully making it too hard for Jack to follow. On the next corner (the abomination can't bank worth a damn) you finally make enough space to duck inside. You catch your breath for a moment as she screeches in a fury, sending a limb flying through the alleyway, just out of your reach. Feeling the air displace so close to you gives you goosebumps, but at least you got out.
So, that's one thing you have. She needs space to move around. That's one way her size is a problem. The issue is that her legs are essentially impossible to break, and that one stomp likely means death. But, using the alleyways, maybe you can-
Splurch.
You didn't even really feel it. It was a pushing sensation, little more. You can't move your legs any more, and your head feels like it's stuck in some kind of fog. As you turn around, you see that a white, bone-like leg has planted itself right through your spider abdomen. There's... so much blood. Is that yours? You follow the leg, and find your enemy standing on the rooftops, having stuck a leg down in an awkward but none the less lethal move.
You fall, just as you find enough awareness to scream.

But where the HELL did she run off!? WHY would she do that? She was still injured!
Well, the place is deserted now. We can gather up supplies. Maybe that was her goal?
Then she could have taken a head start, rather than rushing ahead! What the hell... Fuck it! Just... grab what we can and let's get moving.
Sucy and Yunikki gather up some quick supplies. Yunikki focuses on food and general supplies, while Sucy gathers up her personal projects.
Meanwhile, Francine is waiting in the compound, trying not to fall asleep quite yet.

Who will take over for now?

Not surprised, too bold

hmmm, alexia? nope, being a arm it doesn't have much to do

kids?... what can they do in this situation

cat? he is smart and can guide the others to where syd is

playing with the other characters can give us more options of actions, but won't find Sydney in time

while people are there trying to recover sydney, we as a cat could jump on the upper body of the giant and maybe I dunno, rip it's eyes off
