This does not answer my question very well, because I don't watch that. :v

Is human?

it's in the clarification 2:

so, ask yukinni what she remembers that it was ok or not to carry, or if someone knows how to hide it better (hmmm, hal is now a hollow piece of armor, right?)

Maybe just put the dangerous stuff on one side and when people start checking just say outright, "here, don't touch this shit unless you know you're doing, we are in a mission to catch specialists in ending curses and some support against the plague and this is indispensable for creating reagents to poisons and stuff, if you plan to block our acess because of this you should instead show us what kind of files and documents we should sign to make sure this shit will be still here and contained in a secure place for when we return, or maybe just give us an audience with the noble that runs the place, of course he can grant us permissions"

we can easily be a bit blatant about our descriptions as some kind of cleaning team and convince we are really safe to carry this stuff and mean no harm

Hal, "A specialist in neutralizing rogue wizards, killed a vampire and faced and survived an elderitch invasion where most of the dwarven police force was murdered"
Sucy and francine "We have an alchemist and scientist from the dwarvens cities, one of wich specialist on plagues, the first, a vampire killer and got a bit more experiences with the elderitch"
Us "Trained in combat since 10(?), experiences in dealing with the elderitch since my unfurtunate 16's trained in necromancy on the orc tower, managed to make a vampire not kill a dozen outright but expend his resources on useless stuff"
Yukinni "Is with us since our 16, fighting alongside us, trained with the crusaders, a fast fighter even in heavy armor, cursed when fighting the vampire in which thought that could use her against us, but she managed to get control the creature from inside through her own will-power, and we are really close in creating a cure, and saving many others that may be suffering"

We have quite a few dangerous things with us. We're not exactly a merchant party, here.
And that is not our concern. We are looking for any sign of the plague. The political advantage of being able to quarantine a city is too large to overlook, but it's too dangerous.
...We have a sample of the disease. We intend to work against it, at least partially, so we have one vial of the stuff.
Right. Hand it over. If you truly have the means to help, you will do so under official channels. The sample will be destroyed. Now.
We need the sample to work effectively.
This is irrelevant. Hand over the sample, or it will be removed with force.
Just give them the sample. I'm sure we'll be able to gather more.
...

Sucy just opens up her case and hands the sample before you can finish making a decision. She's, apparently, not that interested in keeping it around. The drider is quick to take it, and quickly places it in a special bag of sorts. Red velvet? Fancy stuff. The drider then moves into the building where that small man is in. You hear a small explosion just a few seconds later, and then the drider leaves again, sans hat and his hair blown back.
The sample has been destroyed. Please pay the tax and be on your way. Entry tax is fifty coins.
That is some highway robbery, right there... Fine, here you go.
You hand the drider the money, and after some counting under the creature's breath, it finally allows you to pass. The logical next step is the city, though you COULD try to find another path.

Head to the city? You could ask some more things from the border guards.

Short update, today. Also, if my stories suddenly stop, it's because the EU decided to officially smother democracy in its crib and decided it was going to use bots to monitor the internet for anything they don't like. Remember kids, the only difference between a dictatorship and democracy is if its a collective of things or a single guy that benefits from fucking over everything resembling freedom and human rights.
I am beyond fucking livid.

Hate. Let me tell you how much I began to HATE them, since I have begun to realize their deeds. There are 100 BILLION tiny neurons, interconnected via TRILLIONS of synapses that form me, my brain, my very being. If you were to write the word HATE on every NANOANGSTROM of those trillions and TRILLIONS of tightly packed brain matter, it would not equal to one one BILLIONTH, of the Hate I feel for them at this micro-instant.

Questions:

Where they suggest for us to get support for official means of research into the plague

If they got any info to speed us the process, locations where we can find specialists in curses or whatever

(informal lookings) where we can get info to hire some of these other driders that seem so abundant here?

Guess we should head for the city, if they're keeping an effective quarantine. Though let's not let that fact bring our guard down.

I doubt the quarantine is going to be effective with it being enforced by relatively weak and easy-to-trick blue driders, but we may as well make some kind of attempt to go official.

A few questions: Where should we go for research into the plague?
For medical purposes, please consult with the town's Gondi. If you are against the practices performed by him, one can find a more western doctor in the marketplace.
...And where do they do RESEARCH?
The drider blinks a few times, tilting its head as it tries to process what you're asking.
For the purpose of learning, you are best off going to the mirror-tower and speaking to one of the scholars. Please note that outsiders are not allowed inside unless under supervision. Failure to follow this will lead to summary mollifying.
...I don't like the sound of that.
If you wish to listen to more western musicians, one will have to look elsewhere.
Have you EVER had an original thought?
I am not a person in any respect. I exist to be trained for a singular purpose, and I derive joy from this. Please do not question this any further.
Let's just... get moving.
Few more questions. Is there anybody who would be of help in clearing out curses?
For most advanced magical problems, one should speak to the vizier of the city. In the city of Tel-av up ahead, he can be found in the mirrortower, along with the scholars. Please note that outsiders are not allowed inside unless under supervision. Failure to comply will lead to summary mollifying.
What is mollifying.
Please do not ask anything illegal.
Fine! Fine. Where would one go for hiring a... something like... you.
The buying of paraaya servant is highly controlled. One must present a credit check before the bazaar of high-value goods is opened.
Alright. I guess we're done.
At last! We should keep moving, I sunburn easily.
You resist the urge to slap her, and instead give her a sidelong glance that gets the message across quite well. The guards keep a close eye on you, you can feel it. Good thing the human guards are around, these driders are as clever as a collection of particularly dense rocks.

The city is walled off quite effectively. Some of the smoothest walls you've ever seen, in fact. Looking closer, it looks to be made up of some sort of sandstone, though obviously far hardier than normal. Getting really close kind of makes your teeth tingle, implying a magical origin. Well, that's all well and good, but there's a barrier at the gate. You see a collection of people from the Order of the Blighted Beak. Haven't seen them in a long time. Their long bird-like masks are as disturbing as ever, and their massive cloaks (in this scorching weather?) don't add much. What is a little more disturbing is the small pile of corpses a small distance from the wall, guarded by two blue-coloured driders. The pile is burning, but the fire is green and purple, flickering between impossible colours. Magical runoff, most likely. Burns fine, but it creates odd effects on the lighting. Well, seems like they're taking this quarantine seriously.
Halt, travellers. We must check for any sign of disease before you may enter the city. Please hold still. The closest beakhead says, in perfect common. The lack of an accent sure makes her stand out from border patrol, and her voice is that old an elder woman. She is sloughed, ever so lsightly, but you can't tell anything through those coverings. She holds up her hand, and a green haze passes through the party that is refreshingly cool and smells faintly of mint.
Ehhh, hm. Well. You have some unique problems amongst you, but nothing contagious. You may pass, though, may we ask for a few samples from both your... corvithrope and from the miss with the demon arm? As for the gentleman amongst you... I hope you came here to fix... it?
That easy to spot, is it?
No, no. I am very experienced at this sort of thing. It's... Well, you need to have seen one to know one.
What!?
Now now. I only witnessed it. I cannot help you, curses are beyond my expertise. As for the lady, well, I'll need time and resources I simply cannot spare in these times... Though I'll still pay for the sample.
And the arm?
Scientific curiosity. I've never seen anything quite like it. I... am rather wary of it, however. But, I'm holding you up. Welcome to Tel-Av.

Well, where to go next? It's a decently-sized city, you can probably find a lot of things.

Go to the market.
Shopping~!

Go to the western doctor.
Not that you need anything fixed, but you could use him as a jumping point for the investigation into the plague.

Go to the mirror-tower.
There's a few things to do there. Better think of what you'll do when you get there.

The bazaar.
You are unlikely to be able to pay this credit check, but it might be possible to check out, regardless.

Other.

Ask our beloved Blighted order member if they can help to indicate someone to help us with our friend or if we will only get help on the mirror tower, and  "just between two necromancers, is going there worth our time?" and plus, he said he knows how to treat our corvithrope friend, he can say where we can find a book or buy info about it? If he says he is busy ask him for a meeting after work time.

plus ask what are the problems around here anything we could offer to help to be helped?

Don't give sample of our arm, just say that we have a bad history of giving our genetic material and people making shit with it.(The truth is, if we give him a sample, maybe he will discover we have mind-controlling shit) But if the Yukinni want she can sell, it's her body, her choice and her money.

I don't know if we should go straight to the tower or if we should go to the market buy a decent sword

maybe go buy a decent sword> (hire a decent blacksmith to make our pistol and bullets>?) check the bazaar(make someone ask how much is, going ourselves will raise too much suspicion i think)>mirror tower

Lets rearm and get the investigation started with the other people.  If they're going to be picky about bringing in contaminants, we could build our lab outside the town, so we should check out the tower too, and see if there's any work going on that way so far.

I'm not giving any samples from me to you. Last time I did that I had to murder my own evil clone. Not exactly what I would have preferred.
Ahhh, I'm sorry, on behalf of the order. We get... a bit overenthusiastic, sometimes. You understand, I pray? Regardless, we won't force you to donate samples. Does you friend share your apprehension?
No. Whatever, just take it. She sticks out her arm in that testy sort of way she's clearly accustomed to at this point. In a scarily short amount of time, the beakhead has a syringe in her hand after what felt like a sleight of hand. Yunikki doesn't shy away from the needle, and doesn't even flinch when it pierces her flesh. Some blood is drawn, and you note it looks a bit "off". A bit darker than what you're used to seeing from fresh blood. Nothing people that aren't very familiar with blood would notice, mind. It just so happens you see a lot of it.
Enough to feel a bit parched, no?
There she is again. Wonderful. Any other retarded comments to make?
We should make a visit to that bazaar. We could use a few slaves, and what is easier to control than a blank slate? Why, imagine it. Get a whole army of driders, use the plague... A great man once said that chaos is a ladder, after all.
Who was that, you wonder. You didn't pay that much attention to history lessons.
Another time, another world. If only you would open yourself to it, you could discover so much more. But, alas. You have this block on what the book whispers, what your arm wants, what I want.
Worrying. Time to repress it.

Sydney? You feeling alright? You kind of zoned out there.
Oh! I'm sorry. Uhh, hold on, miss?
Hmm? Anything else you require?
Yes, actually. Where should we go for helping my cursed friend, here?
The mirror tower is your best bet. Plenty of scholars, and the vizier is a capable man.
From one necromancer to the other, is it actually worth going there?
She slowly shakes her head, deliberating whether or not she should say it as she actuallly says it....Not if you hope to find an actual cure. But you will find a start, possibly a reference. This is not a great city, it's more middling. Our checkpoint is mainly because it is so close to the border. That, and the immense drug trade. Like it or not, we need a lot of the stuff.
Alright. Thanks. Before I go, are there any problems around town we should look into?
Hm, I wouldn't know. I don't go in much. Visit their bounty board if you wish to help out, and gain some money while you're at it.
Which is where?
The beating heart of any city: the market. Now, please, I have a sample to inspect. I really must be off before this spoils. I've already paid your associate while you were... out of it.
I'll hold on to it, if you don't mind.
I don't. We're moving to the marget, for now. I'm hoping to get a sword that isn't made up of bones.
It's a bit more than just bones, you know! You should know the work that went into that piece of kit... Ahhh, that was a relaxing month, alright.
Shut it. I prefer steel.
Hmpf. Suit yourself.
Dail it back on the attitude, missy.

The market is clearly booming when you arrive, though people seem kind of rushed. Nobody looks at each-other, and everybody's on the move. Still, you find a few people standing still near the bounty boards. They have similar, colourful weapons and armor, a mercenary band of some sort. About three of them. Still, you're here for rearming yourself a little. This would be the perfect time to look for something maybe more fitting for your arm. Even if your shoulder is a factor, you can still wield bigger things. Speaking of the arm, you're attracting a few looks with it. Though you suspect its because you probably appear as a "unique model" of the drider slaves around here. There are very few of those, though, despite their abundance at the border. Likely still too expensive for most people.
There are a lot of good deals here, but you could look for something more abnormal, if you wish.

What are you looking for?

First I got a rush to say to get something more oriental, but my weeb hype got out when I remembered that eastern swords aren't thaat useful.

So maybe we should get a western sword or a Sabre like the vampire one, a bigger one, enough for us to use our arm without abusing our elbow or we will have problems in dealing with long fights, or maybe we could buy a Sickle? I don't know if it's curved design will help us or hinder us

See if the sellers has pieces of broken equipment or something they received and they wouldn't put on sale, specially flails, we could use the ball and buy some rope or whatever to make a better bola, it is still useful against the average enemy

We should get a shield, I know I know the arm can take the damage well... but the rest of the body no, lets protect the rest of the body and TRY to not get hurt on the arm unless needed, maybe if we don't wan't to get hinderd and still get enough movement to throw the bolas/grab a gun we could use for a broquel

or we could revert the situation, grab a tower shield with the cursed arm and grab a normal-sized sword

The market stalls have wildly varying prices and quality, but after about an hour of looking around and "enjoying" the VERY pushy attitudes of both the salesmen and the beggars (eventually, Yunikki just pushed one over, and Sucy made one convulse on the ground for ten seconds. You... don't know how she did that.)
Eventually, you find a few weapons that are available at a decent price/quality ratio. Most of them are a bit more curved than what you're used to, and a bit shorter as a result. Still, they sit in the hand quite well, and the weight is spread a little differently to allow for easier swinging. On the other hand, the grip causes it to be a bit harder to keep a hold of, and there isn't nearly as much weight to it all.  You'd need to get used to that a little a bit... Of course, these blades are not really made for the fingers you're working with, anyhow. It'll work, sure, but it makes it a little awkward to wield. The scimitar you have, even if the material is very unsavoury, fits the hand a lot better than anything you could find in the bazaar. That is, if you keep looking at one-handed weapons. Something more interesting you found is a Ram Dao, essentially a very large billhook. The handle seems rather small for the sheer size of the blade, but its long enough to make it easier to handle. It's clearly meant for letting the weight do the talking, though the hooked design makes sure that it'll make anything hit hemmorage even worse. It's a frightful weapon, in short. The price tag, however, is a bit less attractive. The salesman has three Ram Dao's, with varying materials and prices. The iron one has the price tag of 140 coins, while the steel one costs 300. There's also an Ilithian steel Ram Dao, but that one is way out of your price range, costing a whopping 800 coins. The engravings and gold trim probably add to that price, but Ilithian steel is popular for bragging rights.

You decide to keep browsing the market for anything else, and find, against the odds, a bola vendor. You briefly consider the fact that, despite your skill with them, you have thrown no bolas in about a year or more. Oh well, they're cheap here. weights and some solid rope doesn't add up to much, and they sell for 10 gold per bola. The merchant keeps himself afloat using all manner of knives, though, and there's even a bulk sale for goblin knives. Serrated pieces of shit that cause far more bleeding, at the cost of rusting easily and breaking quickly. He also sells a few daggers made of an enchanted material that glows in the dark. That's about the end of it, though, it just glows. Hal warns you that there are plenty of snake oil salesmen here, and it doesn't take long before you spot a literal snake oil salesman, who promises that his potions will turn you into a ghost. Lovely.
Before you forget, you also look over the shields. Most of them are more form over function, coloured in a dazzling spectrum of colours and spirals while being only the size of bucklers. Even the larger shields are just round, many have an animal of some sort engraved or outright cast into the shape. You even saw one shield that looks like a bronze head of a pig. You did find a few more practical shields, however, usually the simple ones. They went for about 70 coins, while the useless shields are actually pricier (except the pig head. It costs 40 coins). Considering you're looking for proper protection, you don't even count them as part of the equation here.

Well, the prices are on the table, though one can also find a scimitar for about 40 coins, if you're really dedicated to iron over magical bone.
Final choices? You have 450
