This, but send ahead a rat to corroborate their information on the little that we can. But try to diplomance before interrogating. We are taking their weapons and tying their arms, and pointing out that as a necromancer, keeping them alive is a burden that we are bothering with solely because we don't actually want to kill people. Also that we are the only drider in the complex that doesn't have a "dead or alive" order from the people behind us, and they just failed the people behind them, so standing a safe distance behind us and cowering is about the safest place they could be.

I'm pretty sure Sydney is entirely capable of eating enough drider to kill these two without gluttony, when all is said.  It would come in handy if she'd need to eat something non-living, or if she had to eat these two drider's whole, but we know she's able to consume something larger than she should be capable of already.

Good news, boys. You've been selected on the very limited mercy program. Provided you're willing to work with me, of course. For starters, do you know anything about the rage virus?
The zombies? the one you're aiming at says. L-look, we'll comply, please let my buddy go, alright? Please, we just want to get out of this.
Please, please please please... I don't wanna die! The one you're still holding blubbers.
And you won't, unless you do something stupid. On that note, empty the pockets.
Okay, okay. We've got nothing on us, alright? I think Stu's got a pistol, but he doesn't keep it loaded.
I do, i do! D-don't do anything, i'm taking it out, alright. S-slowly.
Nope. Hal! Disarm him.
With a shrug, Hal gets to work on emptying the man's pockets, though he seems a little uncomfortable around the spider-parts. Not that it stops him or anything, he just doesn't much care for the legs. Understandable position, of course. It's a fairly strange pistol that the drider had, some kind of mix break-action revolver with an odd square barrel. The gunslinger's eyes seem to widen at the sight, but he doesn't say anything. You elect to ignore it, you've got bigger things to worry about.
While we're at it, does anybody have rope? I'd prefer to tie these idiots up.
W-WE'VE GOT CUFFS! J-just use those, please. W-we're complying, alright!
Shut up, you idiot! You're going to spook them!
YOU'RE NOT FEELING THIS FUCKING ARM, MAN! FUCK!
Sure Hal is quick to show the cuffs, and he quickly applies them to both driders, even humming a tuneless song. You let go of the drider, tell the others to keep their guns trained on them, and tell them to stand against the wall and do their best songbird impression as you continue asking questions.

Let me repeat: what do you know about the rage virus?
Barely anything! They just took a couple dwarves and injected them with something, then they sent them down the hall.
So the driders were unintentional.
See, man? I told you they were sacrificing us!
That doesn't make any sense... It had to be a mistake or something, right?
Screw that! I told you! I told you that lottery shit didn't add up!
Focus, gentlemen! Is there nothing else you know?
They call it compound 86. I bet the chemist was responsible, one of the Queen's favoured assholes.
We can tell you about the chemist! She's the one that supplies the Slaaneshi's with their stuff. Tons of drugs... I think she's the one that made the queen's personal guard so strong, steroids and shit.
Interesting... How do we get to the queen from here?
...We can't answer that!
You shake your gun a little, causing the guards to twitch. Muzzle sweeping is really bad, yes, but you don't care and they do a lot.
To hell with it, man! The cops are fucking slaughtering us, and they brought in Shadowrunners. They got the fucking radioman just a few minutes ago!
But if there's any survivors, and they find out...
Tell 'em we were "luring" her towards the queen, then. Fuck! It's not like there's a route that ISN'T trapped leading to the giga-cunt!
For fuck's sake... Fine. Whatever, as long as we don't get shot, it's fine.
No promises. You're good to me both dead and alive, let me remind you. The undead rats should give a clue to what I can do.
T-those rats were zombies? Oh fuck, A-am I gonna turn into a stumbling freak!? Oh fuck, oh FUCK!
Calm down. Not that type of zombie. Now, route, please?

You've got two options. Either you continue through here, and fight your way past the commons. We dug in tight as a tick there, tons of guards, but not a lot of cover. It's a total goatfuck, you'll never get past it.
No cover goes both ways. What kind of guards are there?
Militia, of course. The expendables. Probably some of the queen's personal guard to keep everybody in line. You do you stop people from running away? Something scarier in the back...
Zip it. Option two would be the emergency tunnels. They're trapped to high hell, mines, turrets, probably whatever else they dumped in there. Probably bestif you just... got out of here?
Oh sure, insult our captors, THAT will go over well, you fucking idiot!
These people are idiots.
True. the gunslinger says, as he spins his gun around as he usually does. It's actually kind of impressive, now that you're paying attention to it, all manner of tricks.
Alright... Any more surprises I should know? Along the lines of the zombies, I mean.
Not that we know. The zombies were just the most open.
Right.

We told you what we knew, alright? You're not going to shoot us?

Well?

Hey, if we let the idiots live, they'll breed more idiots and in a couple hundred years all our drider enemies will be totally easy to deal with.
Ahem. I mean, they're too adorable to kill. Send them back to the entrance and let them hope the police arrest them rather than opening fire.

"Another 4 questions before giving you freedom

one, are the civilian well protected? or the mega-cunt was willing to make them as meatshield? a bit worryed since there was a rage zombie going through the drider assassins

two, where the other hallways lead?

three, insurgency, there is one?

four, just for fun, what bullshit was your queen saying about how mutation works? I might be willing to share the secrets later to those who decide to stick to the right side and go topside"

For me we just report in that we have two driders prisoners that might be escorted back with the dwarven prisioner, give overall information (and that there is a rage zombie going through hallway 3, but not mention it was us, if we get the mission to stop it now we just complain that we are going to charge in a hallway filled with creatures that can kill anyone with one hit, and hope for a bonus)

A few more questions. How protected are the civilians?
Protected? They ARE the protection! They handed most of them guns and expcted them to handle it through numbers. The elites are making them set up a couple killzones and traps, but that won't stop the dwarves. Fuck, those shadowrunners will tear them apart!
Nothing to be done about it, alright? Look, if The Arm is willing to spare us, maybe they'll leave the civvies alone?
Oh, please tell me I actually gained a nickname here.
They didn't give us a name, just told us you had a freaky arm. And that you're similar to the husks on the higher levels.
That means the blue driders, of course! N-nothing bad, it's just that they act weird.
I get it, i get it... Where do the other hallways lead? The ones next to the one you're guarding.
The driders looks a bit scared at the question. Stu is the first to speak, although it is to his companion.
Shit, do you remember?
Barely... I think hallway five leads to the outskirts of the civilian area. They placed some heavy units there, but the radio cut off before we got more, remember?
That's where the shadowrunners went... Shit. They won't get to the queen from there, they'll be back!
I think that is officially not our problem any more.
...I guess so. Zombie hallway was trapped excessively, right?
Yeah. If you go through, people end up in the vault. Trapped that one, too. Turned it into a microwave!
How do you know that?
Who do you think installed the emitters? They needed somebody who can climb better than most, and the eggheads don't exactly do a lot of crunches.
Neither do you.
Angelica was watching, I was motivated, alright?
She is pretty damn scary.
FOCUS!

Both driders scream in fear as they get reminded of their current predicament. They must be getting a little loopy if they're forgetting the whole "currently taken hostage by a group of trigger-happy freelanceres" thing.
Right! Right... Uh... T-they got , uh, hanzers down that other hallway. That's a dead end. We collapsed that tunnel. O-oh, and if you DON'T go in the vault, you c-can end up at, uh... Shit. You end up close to the queen, right?
They collapsed that one too. Or, they're planning on it? I don't know. They wouldn't keep the most direct route open, right?
Shit, alright... What about the black ops hallway?
Assassins? We're NOT talking about that. If we know anything about what goes in there, it's that we can't talk about it. But... I guess that route USED to be another direct way to the civilian area. But we avoided it because of the ghosts.
Ghosts?
Actual spirits, yeah. Really scary shit. Don't even know what ticked off dead, but we don't exactly intend to find out. Ghosts are freaky, man.
Didn't we lose somebody when they literally pulled out a guy's heart?
Ugh... Don't remind me, man.
Speaking of reminders!
Yes, miss. The drider says somewhat meekly.
Is there some sort of insurgency? You seemed pretty displeased with the regime.
Yeah, I wish. Some lady tried starting something, but I think she didn't print enough pamphlets. They keep her in the holding cells now, I think. Shit... Probably the safest person in this whole deathtrap.
Right. Too bad. Final question, and humour me: What was the queen telling you about the mutations?
Right. She claimed that anytime a drider does something exceptional for the glory of all driders, they will change in semi-appropriate ways. That's how she got huge, through her "amazing leadership". Right. Apparently there's some god that decides it all, "Lolth" or something? Total hogwash, of course. Not enough of us here to start a religious phenomenon, not to mention the humans, orcs and elves had the gestalt field needed to create gods. We don't have that fucking luxury.
Gestalt field?
A bit beyond you, topsider. I don't exactly think we have the time to explain how gods work.
Right. That's all we've got. How are we going to get them into custody?

Somebody needs to escort them back, along with the dwarf hostage. Who's volunteering?
...I am! The mousy girl yells. Well, looks like she's had enough. But I'll be right back! I'll ask the radio guy to show me the way, so keep in contact, alright!?
Better if you stayed away.
Screw you, you're not my mom!
Oooh, mommy issues. Never a good sign. the drider says. You suppress a smirk at the comment.
Shut up, dude, they'll hear you. The other drider shushes.
You can send somebody else, of course. Anyone will do, it's mostly just making sure they don't run off.

Who will guide them back? And what will you do after that?

Hanzer tunnel should be best.  We should be able to dig through with this giant claw.

..although, I'm awfully tempted to try and pride-control a ghost.  Then eat it whenever we get gluttony.  What does ghost taste like?

It tastes like something that you can't place a leech in, with an aftertaste of having your heart ripped out. How about no.

Hmm. Couldn't we just have our zombie cat escort them back? Just lie and say that if they try to run away, the cat will bite them and make them into rage zombies.
On the other hand, controlling that cat might split our attention too much and prevent us from moving forwards. I don't recall if we can order zombies to follow orders like "escort x to y". If that wouldn't work, we can just send the girl. She probably won't fuck it up!

And fuck it, let's keep going this way. Any "elites" are probably alpha-beta-omega nukeable. Or just focus fire nukeable. And militia... yeah, it'll be the same as these two idiots.

Our familiar can't tell police not to shoot, and it would be sort of sad to see them splattered after all that effort to capture them... Then again, razed drider assassins will probably nuke whoever goes regardless...

Ask where is the cells, our friend is certainly there

Just give a bit of moral to the mousy girl, she didn't was a good warrior but she didn't screwed or slowed us down

we should give her the hostages and the pigeon can follow her, remember that our familiars are smart enough to act alone, the pigeon certainly knows where we are and can guide her and any escort back, and report us if she does something stupid

radio the guys that we are sending two drider prisioners and a dwarf

and when they are living say that 90% of that drider mutation thing that she talked about is bullshit

what is worse than razed driders assassin? possesed razed driders assassins, altough I am fairly certain that the ghosts are a lie
