"None of us are normal people. You really should get this by now."
Kyle smiles a little at his joke.

[Chevaleresse]

"Yeah, that wasn't exactly tough to pick up on."

"Can I at least bother you inside? Then more people won't bother you."

[Chevaleresse]

She sighs, and steps into the room, waving Gai in with a slightly exhausted expression.

Gai enters with a nod. He swiftly takes a seat on her bed and just looks at her.

[Chevaleresse]

She stares back at him, remaining standing.

[kj1225]

"So. Are you still not going to tell me what's got you down?"

[Chevaleresse]

"Do you really want to deal with my emotional baggage?"

[kj1225]

Kyle nods his head firmly.
"Yes. Although that might just be the fact that I think you're attractive talking."

[Chevaleresse]

Chiyoko rolls her eyes. "Fine." She sits down on the bed. "It's just. . . I don't LIKE being a complete jackass to everyone I meet, you know what I mean? But I can't stop, not now."

"Yeah, I get what you mean. I mean, I assumed you were doing it with the best intentions in mind."

[Chevaleresse]

". . . You're either incredibly optimistic, incredibly naive, or some combination thereof."

[kj1225]

"Yep. But is that all you wanted to talk about?"
Gai tilts his head.

[Chevaleresse]

"I didn't want to talk at all, but pretty much. I've spent my entire life doing nothing but making myself a menace to civilization on the slim hope that I might actually be strong enough to make a difference against these fucking paladins. . . It's . . . It's getting difficult."
