Given how the only location left to search is in the woods, presumably the group is going to start there?

It's definitely a clause in the contract, though Anna will have to take it up with Gord before she gets reinbursed for it. Accountability is important, even if you're being bankrolled by the forces of Hell.

Try as she might, Anna finds absolutely nothing on the internet. Whether it's because the information she wants doesn't exist or she doesn't know how to access it is hard to say. If only she had the help of someone with a expansive yet odd personal library or access to a demonic database. Then she would perhaps find something of interest. If only.

Willow just started shouting all of a sudden.

"HELLO?! MR.GHOST?"

The Virgil team strikes out into the woods to search for the spirit, their flashlights slashing through the darkness. The only sounds that can be heard is the quiet chirping of insects and Willow shouting at the top of her lungs. Finally, in-between Willow's screams, someone hears the distinct sound of sobs coming from your left. Rushing to the source, the party stumbles upon a well-built man kneeling on the ground, covering his face with his hands as he sobs and cries. The man is wearing overalls and a shirt, both of which are stained with dirt and mud. In front of him, and presumably the source of all his anguish, are a couple of boards jutting out of the ground. They lack any kind of identifiable marks but have obviously been placed deliberately.

The presence of the group goes unnoticed by the man.

"So, did we just stumble upon a random dude in the forest? In any case, it'd make sense to speak to him, or should we see if he's the ghost or something? Like, that's the Fantasia plan, but let's see yours."
